The Prescott National Forest is made up of about 1.25 million acres and borders three other National Forests in Arizona: Kaibab, Coconino and Tonto. The Alamo Lake State Park is located in the town of Wenden and is a great spot for a fun outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to a breathtaking natural setting over the water and great sunsets and opportunities to stargaze. Plus, there's tons to do at this  campground. OHV driving is popular as is fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, red-eared  sun fish, channel catfish and several species of trout.
