Just beyond the campground, campers can look forward to a number of excellent attractions such as the Brackenridge Park & Campground, The Texas Zoo, Texana Park & Campground and the Splashway Water Park. The Piping Plover Campground is located in the beautiful and historic Jefferson County, Texas and is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Just beyond the campground, travelers can look forward to a host of excellent historic sites such as Edison Museum, John Jay French Museum, Chambers House Museum, Museum of the Gulf Coast and the Babe-Didrikson Zaharias Museum. There's also a number of great art galleries, Gator Country, Beaumont Botanical Gardens, Colorado Canyon and the theaters at Jefferson Square. The Galveston Bay RV Resort is located in the beautiful town of Baytown and is a great spot of an authentic Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby water-related activities at places like the gorgeous pond at the Bay Town Nature Center, Pirates Bay Waterpark, and there's also quiet a few public parks like the Roseland, Allenbrooks and Jenkins Parks. The Baytown Historical Museum is a camper favorite, as is Goose Creek Park.
