The Prescott National Forest is made up of about 1.25 million acres and borders three other National Forests in Arizona: Kaibab, Coconino and Tonto. The Desert View Campground is located in the Grand Canyon National Park and is especially popular among hikers. Climbers get ready for peaks like the Moran, Grandview and Yaki Points which all offer spectacular views of the Grand Canyon. There's also an excellent restaurant near the campground, so if you're hoping to enjoy local foods, get ready for excellent Navajo beef stew and french toast and authentic Mexican tacos. The Crystal Forest Gift Shop Campground is located in the beautiful city of Holbrook, Arizona and is a great place to enjoy a relaxing outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to the breathtaking sites of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert National Park, both with intricate and challenging trails for visitors to hike, bike and explore. Canyon de Chelly, the Meteor Crater and the Harvey House in Winslow are also relatively close by and certainly worth a visit. With sight-seeing, campers can expect cool temperatures and plenty of excellent local eats to satisfy hungry travelers after a long day of exploring. Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Gift shop is definitely a great stop after dinner in downtown Holbrook. There, campers can buy excellent locally made wood arts and crafts.

Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area is a campground located on 1500 N Fool Hollow Lake in Show Low, AZ. The site includes laundry facilities. The campground is open all year.
