Ekstrom’s Stage Station is a collection of historic log buildings reassembled along Montana’s famous Rock Creek, functioning today as a campground. The campground is situated in a large grassy meadow surrounded by tall pine trees and is famously quaint and quiet, comfortably accommodating RV’s up to 45′ in length. Please call ahead regarding availability for larger RV’s.  The campground offers water & electric sites as well as full hookup sites. Nearby Rock Creek lures fisherfolk from all over and provides the perfect background music for hikers. Basketball, volleyball courts and playground are also provided. In addition to RV sites and tent sites, there are also rustic log cabins, an historic school house, and two tiny houses on wheels. 

The Helena North KOA (formerly Lincoln Road RV Park) is located in Helena, Montana and is a popular spot for the number of great attractions nearby. Guests can look forward to the downtown Helena area where the Capitol building stands tall and regal, and the Charlie Russell Art Museum is just nearby, ready to be toured. Centennial Park is also close by, so be sure to go hiking, biking, jogging and picnicking at this gorgeous park. You can also follow the famous path of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the nearby Gates of the Mountain. There's a plethora of excellent, craft restaurants and bars around the RV park, so when you're ready to step out of nature and into the urban center, you're sure to have a great time! Tamarack's Resort is located in the picturesque Swan Valley. Campers can look forward to a plethora of excellent local activities, such as alpine hiking and fishing for whitefish and various species of trout. Lose yourself among the tall, thriving fir and pine, and the excellent hiking and mountain biking paths throughout the forest surrounding the lodge. Campers can also enjoy activities such as hunting, historic sightseeing, biking, volleyball and badminton, as at a well-managed site. Mining for precious gems is another popular activity, and visitors can tour the nearby ghost town or go fishing at the nearby lake.

There's also a Ghost Town just a short drive from the park, as well as host of excellent local eateries and bars. The Helena Campground and RV Park is located in Helena, Montana and is located just a few miles from the Spring Meadow Lake State Park. Campers can look forward to a number of outdoor activities such as hiking the gorgeous trails, biking and exploring. There's also plenty of space at the lake to enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Campers can also look forward to scenic views and curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose. If you love nature, you'll absolutely adore this campground. 

The Wagons West Motel and RV Park is located in north-central Montana. The campground is a quiet spot with local conveniences and small town attractions such as bars, restaurants and grocery stores for supplies. It's great for passing through on your way to other areas of the state, or perfect for your next relaxing, distraction-free vacation. 

The Moose Creek Campground is located in the scenic Creek Canyon. Campers can look forward to a long list of excellent outdoor activities, all set within the gorgeous Montana pine and fir trees. Visitors can look forward to acres and acres of lush land for hiking and mountain biking, as well as scenic and wildlife viewing. Keep your eyes open for elk, deer, moose, birds and small animals, and look forward to large, healthy fish at the lake. Brook and cuttroat trout are common, as are whitefish and Arctic Grayling. Be sure to also check out the clear night skies for stargazing, and catch a gorgeous red view at sunrise. 

Halfway between the Glacier National Park and Yellowstone is the Deer lodge KOA. With Clark Fork River running right through it, campers can look forward to excellent fishing for brown trout. There's also a plethora of outdoor activities to keep campers busy and having fun. Visitors can look forward to horseshoes, badminton, scenic viewing and local attractions. Check out the Old Montana Prison Complex, Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site and the Montana Museum. There's also a tour shuttle to take campers to various historic or cultural landmarks at Deer Lodge, so look forward to those!

Serene, beautiful and off the beaten Montana trail is the Racetrack Cabin. The small building is tucked away within the dense forest and is well-known is a quiet safe-haven for hunters, and retreat from the curious bears roaming around outside. At an elevation of over 6,300 feet, expect a cool climate and acres of green vegetation. Popular outdoor activities include: hiking the various trails, or trout fishing at Racetrack Creek. Vacationers can also look forward to winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing. An hour drive from the cabin will take campers to the city for supplies, fine, local dining and even some live music or a historic site or two. 

The Doney Lake Cabin is located at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, and is a favorite among campers looking to immerse themselves in a gorgeous natural setting where fishing is easy and relaxing. Get ready for a number of excellent outdoor activities other than fishing. Campers can look forward to big game hunting, nature viewing, wildlife viewing for elk, deer and moose and hiking along the beautiful and challenging paths. Winter sports are also popular, so look forward to snow shoeing, sledding and skiing. At a high elevation, campers can expect mild summers and fresh air, so pack a bag and head up to the Doney Lake Cabin. The site is very primitive and doesn't include water, so be sure to bring all the supplies you'll need!
