Burchfield Branch Park is located near Holt Lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway northeast of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With many amenities, access to the water and opportunities to view wildlife, Burchfield Branch provides a convenient camping spot for families, boaters, swimmers, picnickers and sightseers. Holt Lake was created by the damning of the Black Warrior River. The campground is situated along the forested shores of the river and displays scenic fall foliage each year. Deer, squirrel, wild turkey, migratory birds and blue birds live around the Holt Lake area.   Amenities & Activities The park features: campfire rings, creek access, a dock, drinking water, dump station, entrance station, fishing, fishing pier, flush toilets, general store, grills, picnic shelters, picnic tables, pit toilets, a playground and showers.   Attractions You can also expect nearby attractions such as Holt Lake, Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway and the Black Warrror River.   Fishing is the most popular activity on the waterway. Logan's Pass is conveniently located just 2.0 miles off Interstate 20/59 at exit 73 on Highway 82 east in Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.  All lots are large and shaded with full hookups.  All sites have 30 and 50 amps available.  It is located near Walmart, Sam's Academy Sports, movie theater, restaurants, family entertainment centers. We are conveniently located to the University of Alabama.  

Peach Queen Campground includes amenities such as electricity. This campground is located on 12986 County Road 42 in Jemison, AL and is open all year.

Knox Landing is a campground and RV park on the shoreline of Logan Martin Lake, a 17,000 acre reservoir. The park provides boat launches for motor and paddle powered boats, as well as partial hookup for RV camping. Established since 1986, this family oriented campground is a great place to go swimming, fishing and boating.   Pell City, just minutes away, has the charm of the old south with 12,000 folks eager to make you welcome to their community. This family-friendly park is operated in conjunction with the Desoto Caverns and they did a bang up good job. The excitement of the many attractions just bubbles over into the campgrounds. With 16 well shaded RV sites, they provide full hookups, electrical, water, sewage, pull-thru parking, grills, picnic tables, free WiFi, laundry, restrooms, private shower rooms, ice machine and fire rings. There’s a large pavilion and log cabin gift shop. If you prefer to pitch your tent, spots are provided for you at a reduced rate. This spot truly has it all. Guests are honored with free passes to the beautiful and historic DeSoto Caverns. But, there are over 20 more fun filled attractions, like the giant Lost Trail Maze and Wacky Water Golf. Hidden Cove Outdoor Resort is a pet friendly campground located on 687 County Road 3919 in Arley, AL. The site includes WiFi, showers, electricity, laundry facilities, BBQ grill. You can also do activities such as Basketball, volleyball, mini golf, swimming outdoors, and boating. The campground is open all year.

The Lake Mitchell/Higgins Ferry Park is the place to be if you love to fish and immerse yourself in an untouched natural terrain. Higgins Ferry is a beautiful county park right in the heart of Alabama, and located just ten miles east of Clanton, which is part of the Coosa River and a premier fishing location for Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Anglers hold an annual championship right on the docks, so visitors can look forward to that! Higgins Ferry offers a public boat launch, a pavilion, swimming area, as well as RV and tent camping. The campground also offers 24 full hook-up sites and 4 water and electrical sites.
