Hanceville is home to one of the nation’s most iconic shrines, Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. The construction began in 1996 and was completed in 1999, under the direction of Mother Angelica of the Eternal Word Television Network. A little further up the road you can enjoy the Huntsville space center that’s sure to be a great stop for all ages! Logan's Pass is conveniently located just 2.0 miles off Interstate 20/59 at exit 73 on Highway 82 east in Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.  All lots are large and shaded with full hookups.  All sites have 30 and 50 amps available.  It is located near Walmart, Sam's Academy Sports, movie theater, restaurants, family entertainment centers. We are conveniently located to the University of Alabama.  

The Safe Harbor RV Park is a quaint park in Riverside that will show you what community is all about! You can expect great facilities such as a storm shelter, free WIFI, pull through sites, big rig access, tent camping, cable or satellite TV, RV 30/50 amp hook-ups and pet-friendly. This family-friendly park is operated in conjunction with the Desoto Caverns and they did a bang up good job. The excitement of the many attractions just bubbles over into the campgrounds. With 16 well shaded RV sites, they provide full hookups, electrical, water, sewage, pull-thru parking, grills, picnic tables, free WiFi, laundry, restrooms, private shower rooms, ice machine and fire rings. There’s a large pavilion and log cabin gift shop. If you prefer to pitch your tent, spots are provided for you at a reduced rate. This spot truly has it all. Guests are honored with free passes to the beautiful and historic DeSoto Caverns. But, there are over 20 more fun filled attractions, like the giant Lost Trail Maze and Wacky Water Golf. The Lake Mitchell/Higgins Ferry Park is the place to be if you love to fish and immerse yourself in an untouched natural terrain. Higgins Ferry is a beautiful county park right in the heart of Alabama, and located just ten miles east of Clanton, which is part of the Coosa River and a premier fishing location for Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Anglers hold an annual championship right on the docks, so visitors can look forward to that! Higgins Ferry offers a public boat launch, a pavilion, swimming area, as well as RV and tent camping. The campground also offers 24 full hook-up sites and 4 water and electrical sites. There’s also a full bathhouse with showers included, and for the kids, there’s a playground area, and a day use area where people can cook out and enjoy the beauty of Lake Mitchell.
