Built over a natural, hot mineral spring aquifer, Desert Hot Springs is one of the best areas in the country to visit. It is tucked amongst the mountains and forests of some of the best parks in California and the United States. With endless breathtaking views and outdoor activities, it’s one of the best places to visit. It is also on the outskirts of Los Angeles, so there are plenty of nightlife activities, as well as opportunities to check out Hollywood. There are several campgrounds in the area, as well as some of the best RV Parks in California.

Desert Hot Springs is just on the outskirts of Joshua Tree National Park. The park is known for its unique, jagged rock formations, which contrasts with the burnt, desert landscape of the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert. Joshua Trees are bristled and twisted, which is what the park is named after. There are plenty of short and long hiking trails within the park, which provides great opportunities to take in views and watch birds. Rock climbing is also a popular sport in the park. After a day in the park, there are some of the best campgrounds and RV Parks in California.

San Bernardino National Forest, which contains San Gorgonio Mountain, is just north of Desert Hot Spring. The forest also offers up many great outdoor activities.
