We chose this park specifically for all the cool things there was to do nearby and we weren't disappointed! Universal Studios Hollywood and Magic Mountain were both about 20 miles away, and the Santa Monica Pier was about 25 minutes away from the park. Plus, there was so much shopping to do! It felt kind of strange going shopping and returning to an RV park, but it definitely felt way more pampered than I expected from a campground. They had all the basic amenities, but also a heated pool and recreation room. Everyone else seemed like us: pretty eager to get out and enjoy LA, but do it on the cheap, and I'd definitely say that this park gives you value for what you're getting. Let me end by saying you should visit the LA Zoo, which is 100% not just for kids, and go to all the restaurants in the area, specifically Musashi Restaurant!
