Balboa RV Park is located near the incredible west coast metropolis of Los Angeles, and is not just a great spot for site seeing and entertainment, but is historically well-known for its excellent campgrounds. Get ready for world-class food, sights, experiences and outdoor adventures while in LA, and be sure to plan for an extended stay!

Amenities and Activities

Campers can take advantage of the tons of great activities near the campground. Some camper favorites include: have a cookout on Dockweiler Beach, snorkel, bike along one of the area's many beaches, summit Mt. Baldy, pier fishing, scenic and sunset viewing, visiting Joshua Tree National Park and paddle boarding. Amenities at the park include: laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, WIFI, recreation hall, full hookups and gym facilities.

RV Sites

RV sites feature laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, WIFI, recreation hall, full hookups and gym facilities. Sites are also just a short drive from local attractions like: the Getty Center, Griffith Park, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Sign and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Rules

Vehicle Policy

SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK IS 5 (FIVE) MPH. STOP SIGNS MUST BE OBEYED F YOU HAVE A PET, PLEASE INFORM MANAGEMENT AND SECURE A PET AGREEMENT. You may not leave any food outside for any animal even your own. Stray cats and dogs are a nuisance to our park. You may be served a 30 day eviction notice if we catch you feeding stray cats and dogs. When feeding your own animal outside your RV do not leave them unattended. After feeding please pick up any food left over. We love cats and dogs but only when they are in your RV. RVS MUST MEET MANAGEMENT APPROVAL ON APPREANCE AND AGE OF RV. All motor homes must be able to move under their own power. All RVS must be kept clean, have a good paint job and presentable condition.

This is a beautiful campground that had everything we could ask for. The sites were rather spacious and had all the amenities we could need. The activities were a ton of fun and very relaxing for the whole family. The staff was rather affable and accommodating to all of our needs. We were able to park our big rig with no issues and loved the layout of the park. I liked how everything was very well maintained and the layout of the park. We stayed at a surprisingly charming RV park for a couple days in Van Nuys, CA. Easy access to LA, parks and museums; it's not a fancy place but the bathrooms are clean, the showers hot and the proprietor, Steve, is the sweetest there is. My family and I come here almost every year and always have a great time. The RV park is well-equipped, and we don't have to leave if we don't want to because everything is right there! Each site has a cement balcony and are full hookup with wifi, laundry room and the works. There's even a gym which is perfect for us because we've spent multiple weeks at this park and it's nice being able to work out while there. The restrooms are always really clean which is great. Besides the park itself, there's so much to do nearby. We always go to six flags, paramount pictures and universal studios, and the yellow brick road mural is always a favorite for the kids. Having everything a short distance away is even better when all the attractions are based on some of our favorite shows and movies.
