The Preserve on the Battenkill

I recently stayed at the Battenkill River Resort for our first time “glamping” vacation. I travel a lot and I found my peaceful place! The cabin/tent was stunning with every detail thought of. The bed was cozy, Adirondack meets modern theme. From the beautifully carved wood, stone sinks, modern shower and tile, I was so impressed. I particularly enjoyed the soft large robes! The nespresso machine was enjoyable and the convenience of all kitchen items were stocked. I love cooking on black iron pans so this was a treat! Mini fridge had a 50s vibe, love the fridge with microwave for convenience. The antique dresser/dining was fully stocked with everything you need including fire pit popcorn kit and cooker. Two types of grills to cook on, porch, fire pit next to the river were beautiful and quiet. Even a place to lounge and nap next to the water! As I made my way to the pavilion, there sat a sauna! Bonus! In the pavilion, big screen T.v., 4 types of grilling, smoker, wood fire pizza oven, mini golf, chess set, comfy sofas with fire coals and so much more. They offer bicycling, and kayaking on the property. The unbelievable part was the unique food truck of wine, beer, other and gourmet appetizers and meals for two from baked chicken to crab legs! The owners are so nice, like to visit with you, and clearly put so much thought into the beautiful must stay gem! See you In September, we will be back!!!

river sport is a hidden gem. This is my 3rd time camping here. We Love it.
