Cabins - Sleep up to 4

If you want the camping experience but don’t want to pitch your tent, a cabin or a shelter might be an excellent choice for your group. Only a short walk from the center of the campground, the log cabins are some of the most beloved accommodations at the Lake Lauderdale Campground because they offer a bit of privacy and comfort for your family while still being “no-frills” (there are no bathrooms in the cabins; however, there are restrooms/showers located nearby). This might be a nice compromise if you have any “reluctant campers” in your family.

Please note that the camper must supply their linens, bedding, pillows, and towels

The park needs improvements. I see you are grating the road after rains. That is an improvement from last owner. The water pressure supply you are working on. This time we were able to take showers without our water pump. It all takes money and time for you to get things fixed. Thank you for the hard work you have all done.

I visited Lake Lauderdale Campground with my wife and 3yo daughter for a 2 night weekend stay. We traveled there with our 43’ fifth wheel. We stumbled upon this campground because we were attending a wedding in the area. The campground was very well kept with nice green grass throughout the grounds. We had a beautiful view from our campsite and the people there were very friendly. Everyone was quick to smile and say hello, both staff and other campers. I felt very safe at this place and my wife said, even though we were running around with the wedding, that she was really able to relax. We used the playground which was simple but highly enjoyed by my daughter and there was a club house that was very inviting with couches and games to play. The host, Mark, was friendly and very accommodating. Seems like a great guy and committed to running a great business for all of his visitors. He filled our propane at a very reasonable price on the way out which was very convenient. I was most happy with the fact that the electric worked (no flags on my surge protector) and the comfort of feeling safe. Relaxing and quiet. The bathrooms, if needed, are campground bathrooms but well kept and clean. We traveled from LI, NY for this trip. We normally either camp on the beach or visit resort style campgrounds off island but for future reasons of enjoying a quiet peaceful stay, we will definitely add this to our future plans. Very beautiful area.

Beautiful quiet campsite. Full electrical and water hookups right at our site. People very friendly

The views and large sites were, in my opinion, the only positives. Low water pressure, non-existent WiFi and pretty rough roads in the campground. I didn’t check out the laundry facilities or the bathhouse. The gentleman who showed us to our site was very kind and friendly, but in the week we were there, we never saw or heard from the owner. The office hours are quite limited, so I’d guess that running into him is hit or miss. Our stay wasn’t awful, but we don’t plan to return.

Our week here was very peaceful. We visited all our favorite spots, Gardenworks, the Battenkill Creamery and even took in the Fair while there. That slice of NY along the Vermont border is like going back in time 65 years for us. CLEAN and fresh with laid back friendly people. That's why we come back time and again.

We stayed in the smaller cabin. There was a mini fridge/ freezer, a TV and an air conditioner. The beds had clean mattress covers and we're quite comfy. The game room has lots of fun things to offer, is spacious and had a big open inviting garage door. The playground had a nice balance of kids stuff and adult stuff. This campground was really laid back and super quiet. It appears to be mostly seasonal sites. We were there during the week so it was extra quiet. There's some nice trails you can explore on and go to nearby Lauderdale lake too. Staff was great and made sure we had anything we needed. The location was remote but close enough to anything you might need. Coming from Vermont we felt right at home. We will be back for sure.

If you like being in the middle of no where, this campground is for you. First No wi-fi, cable tv had 2 channels. We were put on the top of hill , no trees, no shade, a field in the beating sun, felt like 110 degrees. Stayed 2 nights, each night there was a big party at someone’s trailer. Very little instruction when we came in. No pamphlet about surrounding area; history, where stores were, gas stations, ext. most of the people where seasonal- they were in the shade. There were people driving all over the place with golf carts. It’s a place to stay 2 or 2 nights but I do not believe I’ll go back again.

Tents sites were very private and by mid week we had the whole place to ourselves! Kids could ride bikes and throw baseballs right at the campsite! Weekend was a bit hectic but to be expected at any campground in august. Owner was prompt and attentive to our needs and concerns. Would go back again!

We've been here for 4 days. This place is just amazing. Very beautiful nature, near the lake, but the most important thing that we liked is the cleanliness, toilets, showers are clean, and the service is just great!!! They responded to all our requests very quickly. The administration is always ready to help, very kind and responsive and most importantly generous! We have received many gifts! And there is also a main office where there is a large hall where you can relax, drink free coffee on the sofas, there are various games and a TV. We rested with a large company of 33 people, there were couples and young people, and everyone was very satisfied with this holiday! We will definitely come back again!!!
