Cabins - Sleep up to 4

If you want the camping experience but don’t want to pitch your tent, a cabin or a shelter might be an excellent choice for your group. Only a short walk from the center of the campground, the log cabins are some of the most beloved accommodations at the Lake Lauderdale Campground because they offer a bit of privacy and comfort for your family while still being “no-frills” (there are no bathrooms in the cabins; however, there are restrooms/showers located nearby). This might be a nice compromise if you have any “reluctant campers” in your family.

Please note that the camper must supply their linens, bedding, pillows, and towels

Beautiful area. A lot of trees but also a lot of roots at our site.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The campground looks nothing like the pictures online. There’s a picture of a lake on the website but there’s no actual body of water at the campground. You have to drive a few miles away and pay to swim. The tent sites are on rocks. There was a huge drop off at the site, not safe if you have little kids. I understand it’s outdoors, there’s going to be bugs, but the mosquitos and deer flies were so bad we had to eat in our tent and didn’t bother trying to have a fire. There’s one porta potty out by the tent sites. The bathrooms and showers are not in a reasonable walking distance away. We will not be returning.

We were extremely happy with our visit. There was just 2 little quirks but not a huge issue. First - we didn’t have a grill which was ok I have now issue cooking on open fire (we were prepared) and the 2nd little issue was our fire ring was very slanted we we placed some blocks we brought with us to try and even it out a little. Our site was close to the port-a-potty which was convenient. The poet-a-potty was extremely clean and fresh smelling every time. Overall great place and we’ll definitely be back

We really love it at the cabin and have stayed in the small cabin once per year for several years. We love the grassy hill, the proximity to family we are visiting, the Batten Kill(!), the view, the airconditioner :) It's a little disheartening to see the price keep going up with no improvements to the cabins. Some suggestions: new grills--the old ones just disappeared and without them, there is no way to prepare a meal unless we travel with a camp stove which we can't do when we fly; new matresses--what is with the rubber sheets? so uncomfortable especially in humid summer months; fridge cleaned--we really appreciate the dorm fridge but the freezer is useless as it badly needs to be defrosted and there was food left over from a previous guest; cleaning between guests--when we were looking around for missing socks, we found a dirty diaper under the bed--gross! at the very least a cleaning between guests ought to be routine; bedding for rent--this would make our stay so much easier as we travel from afar and bedding takes so much space in the car/luggage. We will continue to stay in the cabins for all of the positives listed above and hope to see some improvements. It really is a sweet place to stay and very convenient for us :) We do appreciate the "camping" aspect and don't mind using the bathhouse and not having a kitchen and find those to be endearing characteristics of the cabins. Also, the new owners were accommodating when booking and making changes and worked with us since we were arriving from ALB so late.

I spent a wonderful 3+ weeks around some of the most friendly people that I could have imagined while making a world class guitar under the direction of master luthier Martin Macica. The Cougar trailer was well outfitted with everything needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. there was a picnic table and plenty of firewood and lawn furniture for a bonfire. A very nice setup. There's playground equipment for the kids. The staff was friendly, willing and helpful with any issues that arose. I even had the fortune of catching a campground event that featured a live band. I was helped when l had the misfortune of waking up to a flat tire. the campground has the atmosphere of a large family or a small community. Campers return year after year to experience the camaraderie. When you are there you are among friends. The only negative thing l can think of is that Verizon doesn't seem to want to operate in that area. That's not the campground's fault but is an issue. There is WiFi but it's limited to the office and bathroom areas. I can recommend this campground for young and old.

This is our favorite campground in the Saratoga area! Mark the owner is exceptionally accommodating and making a reservation is very easy. Maryanne and Mike the resident welcoming committee/managers are the best of the best. Aside from being extremely helpful while you stay they are an absolute pleasure to just chat with. All the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Speaking of friendly ... all the other campers couldn't be nicer. We brought our dogs and everyone welcomed them and they had a great time walking the grounds. Can't wait to go back!!! Highly recommended!

Was welcomed warmly and guided through the various features of the campground. The community is great, lots of seasonal visitors with many open sites to pitch a tent. Mary Ann was incredible as she went above and beyond to help me when I had trouble. Nature trails and Amish communities make it an amazing place to stay and go hiking, enjoying the great views of the lake.

Easy pull thru spot, top of the hill in a little field with others. Quiet campground. Great campground hostess. Very personable - takes you right to your site - comes back around to check on ya.

The roads to get to the camp site was the worst I've ever seen. Our vehicles were bottoming out every few seconds. Both mens and women's showers were clogged the entire weekend. People and neighbor's were fantastic and very friendly. You need a store.

Nice campground and staff. Love the library with DVDs to borrow. Saved us in the 90 degree heat. Also left behind some camper parts, which the owner is shipping back to me. Above and beyond. Thanks.

I liked the campsite in the middle of the trees. What makes it most comfortable is the bathroom building with hot showers. However, not all sinks have faucets with a handle. Why? It is not an expensive item. Also there was a big argument at 1:30am with two men and a woman. I overheard one of the men say "I am going to kill you!". How am I supposed to handle or report domestic fights? There is no cell signal inside the camp ground.

We loved this RV park! The open garage with the pool table and television let the adults hang out while the kids played

Nice campground up in the Adirondacks with nice views of the hills from the upper levels. Many of the sites are super-spacious, although some roads leading to certain parts of the site are pretty rough, so drive with caution. We had full hookups and the wifi at our site was excellent. Huge clubhouse to hang out in which is great for groups or tent campers looking to get out of the rain. Laundry facilities are available by the spacious shower block, plus there is a small but well stocked library. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is if you arrive when the office is unmanned, you need to call the owner, but cell service is poor. Also, there aren’t many eateries around, although Clark’s Pizza and Burger Den are pretty good. We want to come back in the warmer weather.

What a great campground. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and part of the rv family. Great facilities and the views are spectacular. The fall colors sparkled and the local restaurants were delicious.

Nice views, Mark very nice to deal with. Only improvement, the road leading up to upper spots is rough, could be made better. Thank you

Our initial visit to this campground marked a delightful beginning of our camping experiences at this location. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay, to the extent that we have promptly secured a reservation for the upcoming weekend. It's a quiet place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We plan to return in the summers to come!! We couldn't be happier staying here!
