The good, the bad, and the ugly. A true synopsis of Tejas Valley RV Park. The Good: The location is in an area convenient to restaurants and shops. With that being said, it is in a high traffic location with a near impossible task to turn left most of the day. The Bad: Ugh, where do I start? Unsanitary conditions. dry and decaying dog poop throughout the park. Restrooms that I would not let my family use, Broken roads, uneven surfaces, slip and fall hazards, and uneven grade on 85% of the sites. If you are one of the chosen ones you can get a nearly level site, but that is for annuals. I also wanted to buy milk from the store there and give them some business and avoid traffic, but the sell date was 2 days prior to the day I was going to buy it (MMMM). Be aware of the speed limit unless you are on a golf cart. Only the do you have the right to disobey the speed. And while I am at it. Do not ask for anything extra if you are not part of the clique, the answer will be no. The Ugly: Too much to list as far as examples go, but to summarize. all but one lady definitely need customer service and life skills training. I could say they are rude, but they may not even realize it. My wife wen to the desk and asked if we could stay there a couple days longer since the park was about 30% full and I was out of town quarantining with COVID and she wanted to leave on Wednesday when she found a driver to help move the RV. Her reply was to "get the d*** thing off the site or she will tow it Tuesday morning." My wife actually had to call the police to talk to this lady to get her to agree to let us stay an extra day . Wait it gets better. Because we left early due to COVID she kept my deposit, the remainder of me pre paid stay, and kept my electricity deposit. Is it worth going to court over $400. I have not decided yet. Her disposition as the "Park Manager" does not give her the right to talk to anyone especially my wife who is Chinese and has an accent. I am in NO WAY playing the race card, but this "manager" could have used more tact. The disposition of the rest of the staff follow her lead as her behavior trickled down to the pawns of the park sucking up for a special discount or a pat on the back. I can go on, but you should get the picture by now. Oh yeah speaking of picture. I attached some real life footage...enjoy and god luck if you stay there.
