Always love camping at Tall Sycamore. We travel from Southwest Michigan at least once every year. It is my grandsons' favorite place to camp. Love drinking coffee overlooking the Wabash River. It is so quiet at night. The people are so friendly. If I had any complaint, it would be the lack of water hookups. Need to remember to take a long hose or fill up with water before setting up camp.

Very much improved from 5 years ago. Full hook ups and people were so nice . helped me hook and unhook trailer . could not find a better place this close to logansport. I live in Florida now but will come back next year.

I think they were a bit strict, my sisters who were camping a bit away who try to my site due to their handicaps and they were right there only one car on the site, I don't care if they are staying here. Come ON. Otherwise it was clean, quiet, grounds needed a little work but a nice place.

If I were from Logansport and looking for a seasonal place to spend all my weekends, this would be near the top. Everyone our group encountered was seasonal and were super friendly- obviously a tight-knit community. However, I wasn’t going to make those kind of connections in a single weekend. It was frustrating not meeting a camp representative at all. We were told to pick any site after the “red building”. It meant we had a long hike to the bathroom/ shower house. We had to pull a fire ring and picnic table from a stack at the end of the campground. There were freight trains going by frequently, 6 the first night. Since we were in tents, we woke up for every single one. It’s not a commercial campground. Some people like that. If I were surrounded by family and long-time friends, it would make up for the “meh” amenities. I still don’t know if it would make up for the freight trains.

This is the best place to camp in logansport every one so friendly and it is nice I came up from south Carolina for the week and love every thing about it had no people trying to make trouble it is family friendly and all around a great place to camp and I would tell everyone to go there I well be back

Our grandsons beg to come to this campground every year. It is three hours away or we would come more often. We love that it is retro and has an old family fun atmosphere. The sites along the river have a gorgeous view and allow my grandsons to fish right from our campsite. We also love how peaceful it is even with the trains rumbling by. If you are looking for good old fashion camping, don't miss this one. If you are looking for all the modern conveniences of home, maybe not the place for you. We are hoping it stays the way it is, quaint and peaceful.

The campground was ok, right along the river. The only information the gentleman who met us was to take “any spot on the other side of the red building.” Once we started looking for a spot we saw there were open spots right on the river. They were passed the red building but looked like regulars decorated them. We paid for a site with WiFi and/or cable (I can’t remember—too many campgrounds and too much time) but we received no information about that from the gentleman. By the time we were settled it was too late to seek additional information. Oh well, not sure we’d stay again.
