Staff is rude and use shady business practices. When you book a site by the pond they call you before your stay to tell you they accidentally booked 2 people on the site and unfortunately they have to move you to a crappy site. They did this to other people we know as well. Then when we cancelled to go somewhere else they wanted to charge $40 for a cancellation fee, for their mistake. I told them I was contacting my credit card company and they were quick to refund my $40. I tell every camper I meet to stay clear of this place.

This campground is conveniently located, close enough to do things but far enough away from lots of traffic and noise. The grounds are well kept and the overall facility is very nice. This was our 3rd visit in the past year and sadly will be our last. One of the nights we stayed, there was a large party right next to us that was extremely loud and went on until 2 in the morning, which is long after the designated quiet time. We were unable to get to sleep due to the noise. When we checked out we requested to speak to a manager as we wanted to have a discussion about the experience. As it turned out the owner was there so we decided to speak with him. Not only was he not willing to hear us out, but shortly after the conversation began he became irate and continued to yell at us during the entire time we tried to communicate with him. Every time we tried to speak, he cut us off and yelled even more. We did not raise our voices at him even though we were both in a state of disbelief that he was reacting the way he was. The conversation ended with him telling us we could leave and to not come back. We have traveled 3/4 of the way across this county with our camper, staying in many places and NEVER encountered anything like we experienced that day. I spent most of my working years in customer service and am well versed in how to handle customer situations and this is NOT the way to do it! If you choose to stay here, you better hope you don’t need to bring anything forward as you could very well have the same experience. Very sad…
