Beautiful property bordering the river. Booking, payment & site choice was all done on line. When we got there the office was closed so we just pulled into our site. Most sites are pull through, 52' hooked up & we had room to stay hooked up. You do get a fair bit of traffic noise from the freeway but we'd go back.

Would not go there again, nor recommend to my friends. Our site was not kept up, very dusty. I had asked if there was a picnic table for our site, the lady rolled her hers and made me feel bad for even asking. We couldn’t launch our boat even though there was a sign for boat launching. Garbage cans overflowing. Left a day early and won’t be going back.

Nice park but the freeway noise over the bridge takes a lot away from the beauty of the river and area.

Do NOT stay here. Owner is rude, extremely aggressive, demanding, and yells at customers and staff while refusing to listen. A simple, calm discussion could have corrected all the issues, like parking in the wrong place to check in. Poorly marked parking and rules on reservation confirmation do not match what's posted at the park. The owner doesn't care about laws or patrons, only if he is getting his way and everyone bows down to him, even if what he is asking will cause someone to commit a felony. I am disgusted at the treatment we received and the owner's behavior.

Beautiful property. Noisy but a choice piece of heaven on the river.

The site Was very clean and well-kept up. The owners appear to be doing work on the property making it look very nice. The bathrooms were clean. The only drawback was the freeway noise when the trucks go over the bridge it tends to vibrate everything. Very close proximity to the Cowlitz river for kayaking.

The campsite was large, the view of and access to the river was great and the hostess was friendly. Someone took all of the bolts out of the bathroom stall locking mechanisms. Not sure why.

Wow, what a view! This is the place to go to launch your kayak or canoe day trip on the Cowlitz river. Launching here you can take a 2, 3 or 6 hour trip. Also the RV park is decent fishing, some people had come just to spend the night and fish. We found it a bit noisy near the freeway, but we were in a motor home so it was not that bad. The camp host is fantastic. They sell firewood and have very reasonable rates. If you're just overnighting, or looking for a several day base camp for fishing and paddling, this is a great little camp ground.

We got a RV spot overlooking the river. Nice and peaceful during the day listening to music and watching the kids play. During the evening, it was loud because right off the freeway. That was the only downfall of the camp site. Easy access, but, LOUD when you went to bed.

Although this spot has a lot of road noise, I fully enjoyed viewing the wildlife. The owner and his employees were kind and professional. The showers were hot and clean. Thank you, I will return.

We love this place and plan on coming back many times. The tent sites are huge, the staff are so nice, the bathrooms are clean. We saw deer and a bunny, and the river view is beautiful. The only problem is that they are fixing the bridge during the night, so if you’re going for a quiet night, this was not it. It is also next to I-5, so there is lots of road noise. Overall for us is that we will be back despite those things. We loved it!

The lady at the office was wonderful, she even gave my kids bubbles to play with when she saw them outside playing.

Nice level area, lots of shade; this park was great for our group stay. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Being adjacent to the freeway, there is traffic noise and bridge work at night. Both mornings one bathroom stall was out of paper; But bathrooms were nice and clean and it’s a lovely view of the river with eagles. Would stay here again. Reasonably priced, good value.

We had a great time. Met with the camp manager and she is just wonderful and so accommodating. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Access to the water or heading out to other points of interest was so easy. I would camp there again!

Great little laid back campground with a variety of spot types (tent, TV, rustic cabin) and convenient river access. Our family enjoyed kayaking the Cowlitz and in our downtime we played horseshoes, fished from the bank and explored the grounds. Staff was very friendly, the washrooms were nice and cleaned often. We liked it so much we added 2 days to our stay because we didn't want to leave. We will be coming back for sure.
