This is an older RV park where many of the residents are there longer term. It is quiet, which is good since the spots are close together. The outdoor areas are well kept. We chose to stay here because we needed the WiFi which did not work well. If connectivity is a priority, keep looking.

Gail was very friendly at our checkin. This is a very quiet and family friendly park as there were chairs and tables to gather. The bathrooms are very clean and easy to get to.

Great Place to get away from the fast pace of the Interstate. We have stayed here in the past and it is always a pleasure. Great facilities, and gracious host. We always take a walk around town. No souvenir shops, fast food or hustle-bustle, just a small town in Utah with friendly folks.

We arrived very late at the campground. We found a very friendly letter with my name on it in the front door of the office. Gail explained everything in it and marked out our RV site in the map. We got the best RV site number 6, directly in front of the office, nearby a fire station, and a peace of green area. You can play darts or table soccer for free in an area beside the office. Also a microwafe and a gas grill station was there for free to use!!! The toilets we're really clean! For us, it was a lovely made campside and we are 120% happy about our stay! 100% recommendation from our side! One information which not directly depends to the campground, but would be helpful for other people: In the morning after our stay we wanted to do a hike to the amazing kanarra falls. The parking lot ist only 2 min from this campground away. They told us in the parking area, that they are fully booked. So make a reservation before your holiday (entrance fee + parking 12$), special in the weekends! Only 150 people per day are allowed to do the hike! Best regards, Theresa and Daniel

We had a very nice stay. The park was very full of large RVs when we arrived with a small grass area for tents. We had booked a tent site. Whe we arrived after dark and checked in with Gail, she offered us 2 little cabins for no additional cost. After a wet, cold night near Bryce Canyon the night before, the small, basic cabins with lights, heat and foam mattresses, were greatly appreciated. Showers were hot, bathroons clean. We had a picnic table for cooking our breakfast. The park was very convenient to our next destination, Kolab Canyon, it was a great find.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, I always appreciate It. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I hope your trip went well and hope to see you in the future. Thank you very much Gail

I hate not giving a 5 star review since I appreciate the effort of providing lodging in a small town, and Gail is a nice, responsive, helpful hostess. I didn’t care for my site, being on the grass and wedged between 2 large RV’s. I did not have a picnic table or fire pit. I had pre-paid $32 but Gail insisted it was only $20. Gail has a glitch with her credit card reader for the remainder of my bill and I had to pay cash. I wasn’t told about laundry on my initial orientation and went into Hurricane, about 20-30 miles away, to do laundry. I could not get WiFi service, likely because the extender had been stolen. I did like the close proximity to Kolob Canyon where I spent most of my time. The closest restaurants were in Cedar City.

Campground Response

I'm sorry Kim that you did not enjoy your stay here. I do have to respond to some of the things you pointed out. I'm sorry I didn't notify you about the laundry room however you were parked just 15 feet across from it and it does have a sign outside its door and is located right next to the ladies restroom. My charge card wasn't working because I had just purchased a brand new phone that morning and had not been able to get into the square app as of yet. But, we do prefer checks or cash if possible. Fire pits are only located in the common areas for future reference to anyone reading these reviews. We are located too close to the mountains to have open pits all over the park. Anyway, I'm sorry for any inconvenience and I hope you enjoy your summer.

Gail was extremely friendly and helpful. While its only a small park in a small town, we enjoyed our stay, restrooms are old style but clean and tidy, all sites are gravelled and level. Good value and really nice area close to Kolob Canyon and Karranaville Falls( which were unfortunately closed due to heavy spring runoff making access dangerous). Also had a generous patio /relaxation area behind the office which we did not get the opportunity to use but it did look really inviting

I love this spot. It is small and in a quaint rural Utah town, but has showers and a nice grassy area for our tents. Every time I have stayed here, I have met the most interesting campers from around the world.

The campground was small but perfect for us since we spent most of our time sightseeing. Our only issue was sometimes the water pressure dropped during high usage. Good price and friendly people.

Site was easy to access, full hook up including dump at my site. Shower house was older but everything worked and had hot water. Walking distance to kanarra falls.

They are using a residential WiFi service and router for a commercial application and reception was very poor' they turn it off at 9:00 PM so I was unable to make a simple financial transaction until the next RV Park...

I called the day prior as a return customer, and was promised the tent site I asked for. When I arrived, my spot was given away. Don't believe any promises. Hostess also invites you to the hotub then yells at you for using it.

Campground Response

I apologize that the sites I had available were not the same one you had in mind when we had spoken almost a week prior to your arrival. There is a hot tub on premises that I do encourage all guests to use if they would like to enjoy some of the perks to our facility; however, in attempt to keep this a "family friendly" park, there is a curfew of 10:00pm that comes with the usage of some of the amenities on site. I hope the rest of your travel experience went well and apologize again that your second experience here was unsatisfactory to your expectations. Sincerely, The Red Ledge RV Park

This is a rather small campground but it has a lot going for it. There are only 22 RV sites but they all have full hookups. They do have 6 pull thru sites as well. There is a nice storage center and a lot of great amenities. There were a lot of fun activities that included: hiking, playground, hot tub, and more. The location was gorgeous as there were many local attractions that are too good to pass up. I really liked how everything was maintained as it was nice and relaxing. Overall it was a great place to stay for an awesome price. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Park is not fancy, big or resortish. We love this little place, the bathrooms are clean, the WiFi is excellent and fast! It is almost exactly in the middle of Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. It is about 10 miles south of Cedar City, Utah off I-15. It isn't directly off the freeway, but it is easy to get to. It does have a hot tub and a nice little community patio. The lady that helped us was Gail and she was awesome, nice and helpful. This is also a Passport America rv park. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
