Staff was helpful and pleasant. Site was not very level. Park grass looked like it hadn’t been mowed or cleaned up this season. Thought l reserved a site with full hookups, but got one with electric and water. WiFi was a joke. These days people rely on WiFi for a number of things. Parks that don’t spend money on upgrading are going to fall behind. Overall, this park was a disappointment.

We made a reservation back in January 2024 and paid in advance for 4 nights for a full hookup site. When we checked in on May 12th we were assigned to a site with no sewer hookup. We had to wait 20 minutes and a bunch of arguing before they released a held full hookup site. Would advise if you decide to stay there get an assigned site number. The campground is a dump. The sites didn't even have the fire pits s cleaned out. All were full of leaves from the winter. The sites grass was covered with leaves from the winter. My wife had bug bites all over her legs from the bugs in the leaves. The WIFI was totally useless and of course there wasn't any cell service. The only redeeming feature was the restrooms & showers were clean. The only reason they are getting a one otherwise would be a zero

Hostess was super friendly and accommodating. The roads are a little tight but she was willing to find a spot that worked for us.

Older campground. Convenient to both Zion and Bryce. Relatively good value for what you get. Place needs some clean up and the grass cut, especially in the dog park. The sites are gravel but the grass has taken over quite a few. The site I was on, a pull in/back out was not even close to level and required some manual leveling with wheel blocks(I have air and hydraulic levelers but they weren't enough) The bath and laundry rooms were very nice. The wifi is really, really slow. There are two bars of 4G cell service from AT&T that performed better than the wifi. There is no cable TV. The satellite will work in about a dozen of the sites. Marty in the office is 'da bomb!' She is very knowledgeable about the area and was responsive to our needs. I would probably return if there was some assurance that my satellite dish would work.

Overall neglected sites with dead leaves, no mowing, site located adjacent to horse pasture so there was some odor. No internet, or cell service., or TV signal. Office staff sign read "back in 45 minutes" but didn't know when the 45 minutes started. Dog park needed mowing.

Our stay was good, except they had a electrical problem that effected our heater, 28 degrees and other appliances. Girl managing park was trying to be supportive her options were limited. Grounds were not maintained to be open after winter.

When we arrived we found that our camping spot would not be right next to our traveling companions as requested and we're told we would. There was no mention of electrical problems with the sight, which the tenant new there was. We could not use our microwave, ice cubes maker our internet. When the tenant was questioned she indicated that an electrician would be out the 6th or 7th. That didn't happen until the day we left. We were told we would get credit, but will need to call within a couple of weeks. The Campground was in a deplorable state, due to lack of help. The tenate was by herself and did the best she could under the circumstances. Most people left that the power problems effected.

Campground Response

Hopefully the rest of your trip will meet your expectations.

I worked with Ellen to arrange parking for 6 coaches in our group. Marti did a good job when we arrived, but unfortunately two of the assigned slots had bad power. We were moved to slots in a different row and had no issues during our 4 night stay. The park just opened for the season and the weather was unseasonably cold and windy so that might be why some of the issues existed. There were landscaping situations that made our slots a challenge, including wide deep holes and piles of horse dung. Despite all of that, this is a great location to use as a base for visiting Bryce, Zion and Kanab. The park just needs some TLC and attention to details. Power issues can't be anticipated nor easily solved in some cases.

Thank you for your consideration and business, we appreciate it!

My wife and I Just spend 4 nights at the Bryce Zion Campground, and it was far from what was promised or expected. To begin with, all the photos on the website are several years old (probably made when it was still a KOA campground) it is not nearly as clean and pristine as represented. We had booked a long pull through site when we made the reservation, when we arrived we had been assigned a pull-in back out site with an uphill grade. When I showed the camp host the confirmation, she told me that she would have to contact her boss that was on vacation to see if it could be changed. The campground is only open from May 1st (the day we arrived) until October 1st, it seems to me the owners could schedule their vacation during the 7 months the campground is closed rather than their opening week. They left their only employee to handle opening the campground, manage the incoming guests, run the camp store and do the routine maintenance. The amenities offered on the website include Cooters Café (closed), Swimming pool (empty and in need of repair), internet available (sign posted in office ‘internet is for e-mail only no down-loading, streaming or gaming. One person can shut down the entire server”). What internet service that was available was slow and unreliable. While I was checking-in another guest was having difficulty with the electric service at his site. He was assured an electrician would be there to look at it in the afternoon or not later that the next day. He ended up having to run his generator for the 3 days he stayed. All of the guest in the section where we were located had electrical issues due to low voltage including appliance failures, diming lights, no tv satellite reception. We experienced all of these as well as shorting two surge protectors. In speaking with other guest, they had been promised to side by side with another couple. We ended up between the two coaches because not receiving our confirmed site. The bottom line is the owners left their employee with no authority to handle the situation. Which indicated to me that they do not respect their guest. If Bryce Zion Campground is the only available option in the area, pick another area.

Sorry to hear that your stay was less than expected. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your vacation.

The campground is well located if you don’t want to change camping for visiting Zion and Bryce. BUT the sites are very very close to each other barely no place to instal your chairs. Some don’t have grass so realy no place for your chairs or picnic table. The sites whit grass , the section is not leveled so it is hard to place the table or chairs, and it is so close to the other site that you have a « nice view » on the sewer of your neighbor! Finally the lady at the office is really mean and love to be that way! Be aware!

Great little campground! Geat location between Bryce and Zion to do day trips to different areas. Stayed in nice little Kabin, washrooms very clean. It was end of season so can't speak to normal availability of goods in thr store. Did not use wifi as our own cell provider had good coverage but it is in little valley so it was spotty for service at times. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the end of the season, so the campground was fairly empty. It’s located very near the highway and is on a decline so all night long you hear the semi’s engine braking.
