Perry Backwoods is a family-owned campground, built personally by the ownership and team from the ground up. We are excited about what we're starting with, and even more excited about the improvements and additions that will be made as time goes on. We consider our campers family, and look forward to growing together!

Perry Backwoods has 9 acres of campsites and wooded paths leading directly into the Perry State Forest riding trails. No need to trailer and drive - you can ride straight from the campgrounds into the riding trails on your APV!

Rules

Campground Rules

Use of chainsaws is not allowed. Fireworks and discharging of firearms is prohibited on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC property. Fires are only permitted in fire rings and must be monitored at all times. By lighting a fire, you are accepting responsibility & consequences of it. Generators may only be used between the hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm.

Communal rules

Pets must be leashed. You must clean up after your pet. You are responsible for your pet while on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC property. Children must be supervised by an adult. All liability for the child remains with the responsible adult. Dispose properly any and all garbage brought in. My trash is my trash until disposed of in the proper receptacle. Alcohol may not be consumed while riding trails are open (from a half hour before sun rise to a half hour after sunset) and should only be consumed in moderation. Excessive intoxication could result in being asked to enter and remain in your sleeping quarters.

APV Rules

Helmets are to be worn at all times including during the loading and unloading of APVs. All ramps used for loading and unloading APVs and equipment must be secured to the vehicle/trailer. Washing APVs or vehicles on gravel roads or with Perry Backwoods water supply is prohibited unless in the designated area. If caught a fee of $10 will be charged for water usage. Riding is only permitted to and from the Perry State Forest trails. Marked speed limit must be obeyed at all times. Joy riding and hot laps are not permitted. We recommend that all riders become members of the OMTA for a fee of $20.00 per year per rider for liability insurance. Ask us how.

Incidents and Penalties

Report any hazards or incidents to a Perry Backwoods associate or the Owner (330) 224-0759. Anyone caught on Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC without authorization or owner's acknowledgement will be charged a $100 fee or be prosecuted for trespassing. Any damage incur while at the park, will be at your expense. Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC is not responsible for accidents or any lost or stolen property and understand you are riding at your our own risk. Perry Backwoods Campground, LLC has the right to refuse anyone service.

It was a nice campground. Bret and his wife made us feel like family. When we broke down in the woods he came and helped get us out safely. Highly recommend staying there. Will stay there again.

Perry backwoods campground is an amazing stay always. Power wash station and hot showers after a long riding weekend are perfect. Brent the owner is a very nice guy, who’s helpful and knowledgeable of the trails. 10/10 will stay again

We have stayed here the last few years. Each year he improves the place more and more. We take our toy hauler down with our 4 kids, dog, 4 dirtbikes and quads. It is always a blast. The kids look forward to it every year. Everyone there is so kind and always coming by to chat at the bonfire. They are always checking in to make sure we don’t need anything. Unfortunately this year I flipped our quad and fractured my S4 back in the woods. The people at the campground were so kind and amazing helping get me to the ER and checking in each day to see how I was doing. Offering to help load up the day we left. We truly enjoy this place and can’t wait for our next trip.

Very peaceful and laid back. We had to check in a late and it was getting dark. Joe stopped by to check in with us to see if we needed any assistance setting up or getting anything going. We will definitely be back.

This place is awesome Full hook up or just park your truck and ride Easy to get to pulling a toyhauler Huge lot to move around Has huge bike wash and shower house Access to trails right from campsite Stores are 10 minutes away People were great very welcoming and helpful
