The Palestine Park is located in the beautiful Texas town of Palestine and is a great spot for a fun southern escape. Campers can expect a number of great attractions just beyond the campground such as the Carnegie Library, Museum for East Texas Culture, Howard House museum and the Veteran's Memorial Park. There's also the Davey Dogwood Park for hiking and scenic viewing, the Curious Specialty/Science Museums, Texas State Railroad State Park, Northside Historic District and the Historic Old Town. For the history buff, there's plenty of other historic sites, and there's also a number of green spaces of nature walks and scenic viewing. And of course, visitors can expect great local eateries and bars to enjoy. Amenities at the park include: full hookups, WIFI, 20/30/50 amp sites, pull thrus, big rig access, tent camping, restrooms, showers, sewerage and water. Hope to see you soon!

We stopped here for one night on our way to N.C. Staff was so friendly... met us at the gate and helped us hook up. The couple running the place are so nice. Has laundry, one shower and one restroom. Had full hookups. A little tricky getting in and out of, but do-able. Very pet friendly.

This is a really beautiful park that is nicely located! The staff was super friendly and very affable. There were plenty of sites to choose from that not only could fit any size rig, campers style, but had all the amenities anyone would need. There were a few activities to do that were fun and relaxing for us. Everything was nicely maintained – especially the utilities and facilities. It is a really nice place that is not only family friendly but very pet friendly! Overall we had a very pleasant time that was a lot cheaper than us going out to dinner for the night which is a win in our book!
