NOTICE TO GUEST

This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities, or acts of God. I will be responsible for any damages, loss or theft to cabins or its contents. NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN CABINS. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY. Use of fish cleaning station is for guests only. All fish remains must be dumped 1000 feet out into main water. A fee of $250.00 will be assessed for non-compliance. I have read and agree to comply with all of the Campground rules and regulations as posted in the office and/or on the grounds. *2 vehicles allowed per reservation. Extra vehicles will need to park in the parking lot

*You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a cabin/lodge.

*All prices subject to change without notice.

Towels

****Towels are not provided.****

*The speed limit is 10 mph and strictly enforced.

*Public restrooms & showers are for the use of our paying guests only.

*Fisherman’s Point Marina and The Lighthouse Cafe have the right to refuse service to anyone at their discretion.

*All visitors are expected to pay appropriate fees.

* Pets must be on a leash at all times. Pets are not to be left outside unattended. No aggressive pets. Pick up after your pets.

*Parking prohibited to your site or designated parking.

*Your designated campsite must be kept clean. Trash should be taken to the dumpsters located at the back of the park.

*Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Noise should not impair neighboring sites.

*Four wheelers, mini bikes, and dirt bikes are not permitted. Golf carts and mules are permissible and should be driven in a responsible manner by an adult.

*Campfires are permitted within designated fire rings pending no burn ban in effect. Extinguish campfires before leaving.

*Open drunkenness is not tolerated. Please drink responsibly. No glass bottles are allowed in the park.

*A fishing license is required within the park. A fishing license can be purchased at the Bait House.

*Boat trailers are not allowed on The Point.

We paid for 2 nights but only stayed one because we were vey disappointed with the cabin. It was not very clean. There was mold above the ceiling fan, cob webs all over the place and dirt on the floors. The flooring was peeling back around the toilet and dirt was all under it. The bathroom door hardly closed. Our tv did not work the entire time we were there. As far as outside conditions… major fall hazards going up to our cabin(2) but other than that, perfect amount of shade, plenty of picnic tables located a perfect distance from the water. Will go back for a day trip to swim but will not spend money to stay in a cabin again.

Bridget - We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. We are aware of the issue in that cabin, unfortunately we were not able to do the work required before we moved into the busy season and the significant rain we had this past season has caused some shifting on the cabins. We releveled 6 of the 9 cabins but this one was not one that had been corrected yet. We did install brand new front doors. We are always working to make improvements but unfortunately the list never stops growing. We will make sure to get this moved to the top and seek to understand why you did not feel the cabin was clean.

We had never been so we chose a site based on the online map. When we arrived we were advised of better sites available. We had the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the weekend. The cafe was outstanding! We had burgers and catfish and were not disappointed with either. We will definitely be going back to this campground!

Rented the small cabin. Advertised to have a queen and a twin bed. The twin is a small mat in the loft of the cabin. They do not provide towels. The cleanliness was good and the people are nice. The overall visit was pleasant.

We booked last minute so was on the far end of the canal. Small campground but very quite. We had a water issue (our fault) that was fixed quickly. Nice staff and everyone was helpful and friendly.
