Oakwood RV Resort is located in beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas, which is well known for its German roots. There, visitors can enjoy a long list of excellent attractions and world-class eateries. Just beyond the campground is the Admiral Nimitz State Historic Park, LBJ Ranch Tours and the Enchanted Rock State Historic Area. There's also the Wildseed Farm of Wild Flowers and more than 600 acres of grapes that provide the main ingredients for the area's more than 70 wineries. For hiking, the Old Tunnel State Park is a great spot, for live entertainment there's the Rockbox Theater and for window shopping and souvenir buying, there's the Fredericksburg Main Street. The area is also known for it's abundance of history, so museums are a common sight. Amenities at the park include: full hookups, pull thrus, water, sewerage, electrical hookups, patios, picnic tables, restrooms and showers. Hope to see you soon!

This is one of my favorite parks! It embodies a true campsite to me. So many trees and everything is made out of wood, well the most of it. There was so much to do and see here that there wasn’t any way we could get bored or tired. The staff was fantastic and super helpful in helping find us the perfect spot for our big rig. The sites were rather nice as well, enough room for my big rv and place for my kids to run. I loved how everything was placed in this park it was easy to find things and the landscape was beautiful. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
