I stayed at Rio Vista over Memorial Day weekend and it was great. The staff was friendly and the park had lots of trees, grassy areas and barbecue pits with fantastic views of Lake LBJ. They have the own boat ramp which was nice, and the pool and water trampoline were a hit with the kids.

Nice area enjoyed stay RV spots are a little narrow and ideal for smaller RVs

Many full timers make this RV park their home. They were friendly. We took our 37 ft travel trailer and had no problem parking it along with our 2 wave runners on one site. Many people parked their boats on their sites so it can get crowded. Older facilities with a small putt putt area and small splash pad. We did not visit the pool. Office staff weren’t very welcoming and couldn’t find our reservation at first. Beware of the boat is extremely slick and my husband slipped and fell on his back trying to get our wave runners hooked to the trailer. Water is extremely rough and made it hard for people to launch/load/dock boats and Jet skis.

This was is nice campground the WiFi didn’t work unless you were down close to the office campground was ever clean the boat dock need to be lighted and the fishing dock need lights

Sites in the center of the circle should be covered with something like crushed granite because now when it rains they are just muddy not grassy. They should also be marked more clearly. Othrwise a fairly nice park.

We didn’t stay long enough to utilize all the amenities - didn’t get the chance to walk the resort to see the entire park. The sites were decent size (not stacked like cord wood like a lot of RV parks do) though RVs were back-to-back and offset some. People were friendly.

I still time staying at this park on 4th of July weekend. It was nice and had a pool which was a little small. Kids took it over so we couldn't get in. All else was great.

Susan Lee

It was ok, not what I was expecting.

Had a lot of fun. Just need to work on the trampoline area. Didn't t seem stable and too hard for kids to get to. Other than that it was a great experience and would love to return

This is a really nice resort to visit. At first I was impressed by how friendly the employees were and how everything in the park was so nicely maintained. Not only was everything very presentable but there was so much to do! I loved the array of activities they offered and how long it took for my family to decide on what we were going to start with at first. It was a beautiful location that was very close to a shopping center and the be route was so stunning I didn’t want to stop riding my bike, I just wanted to keep seeing the beautiful landscape and surrounding area. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
