We have stayed here multiple times over the past five years. Each time we have been treated with respect and at times they have gone out of their way to assist us. The campground is unique and a great place for us to stop with our 36 foot motorhome.

Horrible place maybe reservation at noon time for a one night stay while traveling they told me the office closed at Until I got a flat tire and had to get a new tire put on so I would have a spare I called them to tell them about this they asked Where I was and I told them they told me to call them when I was an exit or 2 away that the office would be closed but they would have someone beat me. I got back on the road and shortly later got a call telling me that they would not let me have my site because they don't register people after dark. I would have got there around 8 o'clock half an hour before sunset. I asked if they were going to refund the $43 they charged me since they were canceling my stay and did not have late registration like every other campground I have ever stayed at. I was told no that they held the site for me. I said but wait you are canceling my stay not me and that they never told me I had to be there by a certain time. I was still told No. Explain to the woman on the phone that all my calls are recorded in accordance with federal and North Carolina law in that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company because I have a recording of cur canceling my stay. She then told me she would have the owner call me the next morning. She then told me she would have the owner call me the next morning Of course he did not. When I called them the next afternoon I was told they would not refund me then the woman asked me if the call was being recorded I told her yes as all my calls are. She then started talking over me would not listen to another word I said and hung up on me.

This is not what happened. When we called you at 7:20PM and were told you were 190 miles away we told you it would be too late. You were told about late check in when you made the reservation and when you called before noon about the tire problem. We do not allow, and have never allowed check after a reasonable time of night. It's unfair to our other guests. So far you've called multiple times with threatening messages, harassed my employees, and submitted multiple false reviews.

Stayed there for a month, the owners didn’t like our review and got mad at us. And because we didn’t move our utility trailer which was hooked to our motor home and did not take up any more room harassed us It took 2weeks because we had to move it by pulling it ourself’s to there storage area and pay extra to store it. Bottom line they told us to leave. While standing there crying because I was shocked by the owners treatment I asked for time to find another campground because we are working in the area and the owner Jim said No he had already rented our site. We have never encountered in the two and a half years traveling for work and staying in different campgrounds this kind of treatment. The owner Kathy was rude we got there 2 hours before check in and then the working camper filled our propane while we were setting up and said we could pay now or they would put it on our bill since we were setting up we said ok put it on the bill works for us. A few days later walk into the campground office Kathy said she was charging another ten dollars to our propane bill for not paying same day. Wow we said your working camper told us different, so she said well I won’t charge you THIS time. we will tell you if you go stay there for a week they will let you have any trailers on your site with you as the owner Jim said he makes good money with the people who stay there for a week and if you have one car you can have your car tow trailer on your site. We can only tell you our experience there We, just find owners to act childish and rude. Roads are bumpy and sandy going in and sites mostly sandy. Pool looked nice didn’t use it.

The rental agreement you signed says campsites are for campers and up to 2 cars if the site is large enough. Utility and cargo trailers are not allowed at RV sites. They must be kept in the storage area. Small motorhome car dollies are allowed. The one customer that has a car dolly at his campsite has only 1 small car. You were never harassed, you were sent polite messages by email. There is no one here with a cargo or transport trailer at their site. You were asked several times to move your trailer. The last response we got from you was that it didn't make financial sense for you to move it. We did not wait 5 days before your rent was due which was September 21. On September 5th at 4:48PM we notified you that you had violated the rental agreement and would not be extended. Only then did you move it and we never charged you for storage. You registered with a motorhome and 2 cars. Nothing was said about the motorcycle and trailer. We were never rude. We even tried to help with the television connection. There was a bad antenna/cable switch in your motorhome. It's too bad you didn't read the rental agreement, even after you had signed it. The agreement clearly states that rent and propane have a 5 day grace period. It wasn't a few days later, it was 13 days later that Kathy politely reminded you of the payment policy and requested payment.

Owners are very nice but being in the Sandhills of NC you can guess what the footing is. Very easy access to Fort Bragg and Fayetteville. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Thanks, We can't change the geography. We have to do the best we can with what's available.
