We recently went to Lake Anita to camp and fish from the bank , we were unable to fish at all because of Lilly Pads that the DNR has planted all around the lake. I stopped a DNR officer and explained our concerns with fishing from the bank and his response was good for the fish bad for fisherman that fishes from the bank.I explained that we will never be back his response was OK. We will go to Ahquabi from now on, fishing is good and there are many choices of where you would like to fish. Des Moines resident.
