We have level spots with 30 or 50 amp service, full sewer hook-ups or basic water and electricity with 30 amp service, pull-thrus, wifi, shower-house except winter months and picnic tables. We also have a fishing pond for our guest. We are located 1/2 mile from KY Dam Marina and boat ramp and about 3 miles from exit 27 on I-24.

This is a beautiful campground that has a lot going for it that is at a great deal. There is a great selection of sites to choose from that has all the space you could need as well as the amenities they offered. There are a lot of fun activities to do as well that really gets you out to enjoy the nature that surrounds the park. The location is nice as it’s close to the lake yet there is easy access to many great attractions, restaurants, and shops. If you are looking for that great mix of country yet close to the city for other excursions that this is the place for you.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cottage was huge! I was quite surprised at the size it! We loved every feature that it had. The bed was so comfortable and the tub in the bathroom had jets! We will most definitely be staying there again the next time we travel to Kentucky!

Let’s just say the pictures on the website do not reflect the actual setting. Lots of derelict long term campers. Trash needs to be picked up. One long term camper just up and left and left piles of trash at the site. Including the honey pot🤮We made the best of it since we were the only campers in the park. No one bothered us and the site was level. We did utilize the pond for fishing. This was a beautiful park at one time and it is a shame that it has lost its appeal. Your company needs to come look at the property and make updates if you are going to associate your name with the campground. I will definitely do more research on the campgrounds you advertise before booking a reservation.

The stay was great for what we needed! With two kids, two adults, and a dog, we fit just fine in the 2 queen room and got upgraded to a kitchenette. The bathroom space was tight, but I also had two kids that felt they needed to be in there whenever I was. I only have three small complaints: 1) the shower curtain stuck to you in the shower and somehow also let water out, 2) there was a dog left out off-leash that came to see our dog when we got out of the car, 3) some folks decided to shoot off commercial-grade fireworks right in front of our cabin at 11 pm. It scared the dog (the kids didn’t wake up), but it didn’t make me feel safe. All in all, we’ll probably stay again if we can’t find something closer to my grandparents’ house (KY Lake Subdivision about 25 minutes away).

This was the second time we have stayed at this “resort” since it is close to KY Dam Marina. Upon arriving we were unable to locate the temporary office due to the previous one burning down. We were only given one key for a six person room. It seems like the management was not accustom to the roverpass website, when calling after reserving the room the person couldn’t tell me if the room was actually available or not. The kitchenette had limited supplies to cook with and our trash can was completely busted upon entering the room. The shower head was hanging out of the wall unsecured. Management approached multiple members in our room about things in an inappropriate manner. Just felt very unwelcome here and will plan to stay elsewhere next time.

Campground Response

Yes you did get a room that would accommodate six people, however if you look back at your reservation on RoverPass you will find you made it for two people with no pets. We try hard to accommodate all of our guest and would have put the couple that was next to you in another room had we known how many was going to be in your room. Sorry for seeming rude to you for pointing out how the reservation was made. Thank you for your stay.

This is a derelict campground. It does not GPS well at all. We had to do some investigating to find it. The main building had burnt to the ground. The sign was overgrown with weeds and was unreadable. There was no method to check in. The area around it was not good. There was no phone contact for the owner or manager. The campground is derelict. Looks like some permanent trailer residents. We attempted to hook up but there was no power at any of the sites we tried. This place is a disaster.

Campground Response

Sorry you had a bad experience. We try to always reach out to our reservations and let them know how to get to us as sometimes GPS just doesn't work. We are trying to get this corrected. Sorry we did not reach you to let you know. We did have the misfortune of our office burning. We plan on building a new office. In the mean time we are working out of a temporary office that is on the grounds. Our phone number is posted and should have been on the site in which you made the reservation. We plan on moving our temporary office to the front soon. Again, sorry and we are refunding you for your inconvenience.

Looks a little rough when you first get there, but it had full working hookups and only a few other RVs so it was quiet. Some derelict RVs stored on site. No laundry facilities like it lists. There is a block building with water running out from under the doors. Owner was nice. Office has burned down. Working out of a temporary room. Did have WiFi

This is a really beautiful park that has so much to offer. The staff was super nice and helpful for everything. There were a plethora of sites to choose from that depended on our camping needs. They also had a great array of amenities that took care of more than the basics. There were so many fun activities to choose from that were really relaxing for all of us. The location was great as there was so much to see and do in the park and in the surrounding area. Overall it was really a majestic place to stay and we can’t wait to get back. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
