The Gulf Coast RV Resort is located in the beautiful and quaint town of Beaumont, and is a great spot for a relaxing Texas vacation. Near the campground is a number of excellent attractions to engage every type of camper. For the history-buff, the area is a historical hub with several museums including the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum, Eddison Museum and the Dishman Art Museum. For the nature-enthusiast, there's plenty to fall in love with surrounding the campground, such as the Beaumont Botanical Gardens, Doornbos Heritage Park and Village Creek State Park. The Beaumont Riverfront Park and Smith Lake Water Park are camper favorites, and among the many outdoor attractions, travelers can go swimming, fishing, biking, hiking, scenic viewing, sunset viewing and boating. And of course, this beautiful city is home to excellent southern restaurants and an understated nightlife ready for the urban adventurer to explore.  Amenities at the campground include: pull-thru sites, 20/30/50 AMPS. Laundry, pool, showers, a meeting room, playground, convenience store with RV supplies. Hope to see you soon!

If you stay, bring rubber boots to wear while hooking up. I’ve never seen worse drainage at an RV ‘Resort.’ I’m from southeast Louisiana. Way below New Orleans. Near the mouth of the Mississippi River. Delta, marsh, and swamp. It’s been raining most days the last couple of months at home. When the rain stops, the water drains. It does NOT stay to the point that it turns green like the water next to our RV and scattered throughout the ‘Resort.’ There are deep muddy wheel tracks everywhere from anyone who happened to miss their very narrow parking pad. There is barely enough room to walk, one foot in front of the other, alongside the RV on concrete pad. Stepping off puts you in water or mud deep enough to soak through shoes. This is not a new problem. It is NOT due to an over abundance of rain over a long wet fall. If there were correct drainage slopes and underground drainage systems this would not be happening. The ‘Resort’ was obviously put in as quickly and cheaply as possible with no thought to keeping the place nice and dry. This is probably the worse RV Park I’ve ever stayed at. It is definitely the wettest. I will NOT be staying here again. EVER.

Nice concrete drives and large, level concrete pull-through sites with picnic tables; free breakfast; free wi-fi; cree cable; pool; 30/50 amp; big rig friendly; exercise room; very nice playground; laundry; book exchange; pet friendly; no shade; close to shopping & venues; the staff is very friendly; lots of security lighting. The only issue we had was a lot of fire ants around our site but once we notified the office they promptly sent someone out to treat the mounds. They offer Good Sam & AAA discounts. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

I sure do love the big rig spots with the pull over! It’s really nice to have my big piece of metal be welcomed! Everything was strategically placed to hold a lot of people and yet it didn’t feel cramped or anything. The people working here seemed to enjoy their job as they were rather happy. The WIFI is pretty good and so is everything else they offer. I was very skeptical at first but after a little a little bit of time here I saw what it worth is. The price is a little steep but they do compensate on a lot of activities and clean utilities. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
