Very friendly staff. This park was fine for a stop over, no frills. There is a lot of road noise, but the park itself is quiet.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. The biggest issue is price/value. Overall a clean, well-kept park. Pros: easy off/on for I-10. The one-night-stand pull throughs (about six) are new concrete pads, very level, with potable water,20/30/50 electric and sewer. Elsewhere seems like mostly long term except for the one-nighters but clean, well kept, almost cute. Heated shower rooms, laundry. Cons: industrial area so some traffic noise. Small sites. No shade (Texas). I-10 is 1/2 mile but not noticeable inside RV. Advertised "wifi" was barely usable, I switched to my own hotspot. It's clear management cares about the place. Good wifi might have sealed the deal. But for $55 plus tax, surcharges, not a great value. Disclaimer: I only stay in "commercial" campgrounds for quick one-night stands. Otherwise it ACE (Corp Engineers), State/National Parks/Forests so anything with a lack of trees/nature and good site spacing gets at least one demerit. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient location close to I-10. Stayed in the short term area (not at the lake). Large gravel pull through spots with good privacy.

Campground Response

Thank you Margit for the kind review.

Convenient to I 10. Transit sites are level concrete. Bathrooms are dated, a bit beat up and not the cleanest. WiFi is just ok.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying here George, I have taken care of the bathrooms, thank you for calling it to my attion. Rhonda

Site 30. Stayed for one night while travelling. This site was pull thru concrete pad with picnic table and small grass area between sites. Nice, clean and well maintained park. Although we did not use, there was a canoe, paddleboat and kayak available for use on the lake. Had laundry, showers available as well but did not use.

Campground Response

Thank you for the kind review. I do hope you return. Rhonda

Kelly Troup

4.0
Nice clean park, all the amenities were spot on level sites for big rigs Very helpful hosts our water spigot was leaking and they corrected the issue rite away. The only reason for the four star review was the very busy road that came with noisy conditions throughout the day and night.

Campground Response

Thank you for the kind review Kelly. I do hope you return. Rhonda

We Stayed overnight two weeks ago on our way down to Florida and again overnight on our way back. The first time we arrived after the office closed, but they had a sheet with our reservation, site number, rules and amenities. They failed to mention that the cable was out; so my husband wasted at least 15 minutes trying to figure out why we couldn't get a signal! On our return, management was there and my husband mentioned the cable issue; she redirected us to a site that had cable! A storm blew through overnight and when we stepped outside to hitch up, our pad was covered in about 2 inches of standing water. So I couldn't give it a better review.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying with us Debra, I apologize about the cable being out, we are on the waiting list to have that repaired. The rain I have no control over. I do hope you return and stay again. Thanks for your review, Rhonda
