Seems like a place for temporary works and people travelling through. Clean and friendly making it a good place to stay. Sites were nicely laid out and level. I was there to visit my son and golf with him for a few days.

Campground Response

Thank you for the review William, I do hope when you return for your next visit you stay here with us again. Rhonda

Very nice park with a lake. No pool so we were a little disappointed. We were looking forward to a swim when we got there. Loved the nature walk untucked up the canal. We would stop here again in our travels.

Campground Response

Thank you James for staying with us. I do hope you return. Rhonda

Nice concrete pads. Good location. You get a better price if you just call for a reservation and not book through the website which uses Roverpass!

Campground Response

Thank you John, I do hope you return. Rhonda

A great experience on a lake. Nice size pads; worth the extra ten minutes to get off the beaten path! The road around the lake has some rough spots to get to the sites.

Campground Response

Thank you Mark for the kind review. I do hope you return and stay again. Rhonda

nice park. didn't understand that i was charged last march 8th $90 then on march 7th i was charged $52.50 so i was given like $8 dollars off for good SAM. most places give 10% which equals to $15 but why would they charge me 2 different times i didn't understand??? then after we left she called my wife and said my truck was leaking oil, i looked and could not find where it was leaking oil, if it did i am sry but couldn't find it, the tv cable there is not good. like 7 channels is all fuzzy. you get better over the air channel. we did get good fox news tho. we wont stay here on our way back in 3 months. they need to work on the good SAM discount. why charge me twice? the web page says $50 a nite, good SAM discounts, i didn't see that i got it when i was charged 2 times, don't make sense. the lots where we were are level and cement tho.

Campground Response

Ken, I really hate that you had a bad experience here, as for the charging you need to check with Rover Pass, that is who you booked through, they did the billing not Hidden Lake, we do offer a 10% discount for Good Sam. I was only letting you know about the oil leak so you could check it out, I just got these pull throughs concreted last month and there was wet oil when you pulled out, I do hope you stay with us again. We made a last minute reservation and we were able to get a spot right on the water. If we are ever in beaumont we will definitely be staying here again. They are friendly and the camp site is very clean.

Hidden Lake is a little gem. Ask for a spot by the lake. Pros: It’s a small park, which we like. Pretty setting by the lake with a nice walking trail around it. Clean and well cared for. Very kind hosts. Cons: Right on the road, so expect some minimal noise. There was an overwhelming smell (propane?) on & off when were there. We did pick up some fire ants that are now along for the ride. The nature trail around the lake had a ton of poison Ivy, so be careful.

Campground Response

Thanks for the review Julie, I don't know what the propane smell could have been, no one has ever mentioned that before. The poison ivy will be gone. Thanks for staying with us, and thanks for taking a few fire ants I do hope you will return.

Good RV park for an overnight. Roads are paved within the park but sites are gravel. We stayed in a FHU pull through with a 41’ fifth wheel. We didn’t need to detach We had good DISH reception. It was very quiet. Gas, Kroger and Subway were close by.

Campground Response

Thank you Eric for the review. I now have the pull throughs concreted, I hope you return Rhonda
