We previously reserved a site for overnight stay on our way to Dallas, all went very well. We arrived around 6:00PM and the paper work was waiting for us at the check in center. The site was clean and in proper working order. We are very pleased with Hidden Lake, We will book a return stay.

Campground Response

Thank you Thomas we look forward to your return

Pretty park, with lots of grass. Also has great showers and laundry. The only downside is you have Highway noise all the time.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying with us Duane

Although only a one night stay, we enjoyed this no frills park. Our space was close to the office, with a decent patch of grass for our dog fence. On a walk with the dogs, I found a marked shaded nature trail on the far side of the lake, and lots of different kinds of mushrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying with us Tracy, I hope you return. Rhonda

Hidden Gem! Super clean! Although we were there only one night, the place is great. Friendly staff on phone, spotless site, clean shower and bathroom, easy on/off I10.

Just stopped in for the night. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Very convenient to I10. Restrooms were clean. Arrived after 3pm on a Sunday so I never talked to anyone who worked there or who stayed there. Appeared to be mostly area construction workers and seasonal rentals. I would do it again for a quick overnight stay.

Campground Response

Thanks Denny, I do hope you return and we get to meet next time. Rhonda

I must preface this with the fact that it rained, everyday, for 3 weeks prior to our arrival. And, it rained the 3 days we were there. So, if it were a "normal" situation I would say it's an OK park. They have gravel, level, FHU sites but it's a pretty "bare bones" park. Easy on/off I-10 is a plus if you're staying one night. Park manager was a lovely lady who was VERY concerned about ALL the water on most of the sites. I would return, for a night, if I was passing through.

Beautiful camp ground, with very friendly staff. Sits right on the river, but. Almost 70% of the campers live there, nothing really wrong with that but really don't want to look out my window and see a car on jack stands. Roads are in horrible shape and tress have over taken some of the spots. If you own a large RV lookout for the high branches and don't go next to the river unless you have some good backing and driving skills.

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us and I do hope you will return.

Oops - not San Antonio- Close to Beaumont & New Braunfells. Loved the grassy open areas to walk dogs. Staff work hard to make this a gem!

Serene, immaculate, safe & convenient CG. Nature trail around a pretty fishing/kayak/canoe pond. Hosts helpful and friendly. Close to San Antonio but NOT a parking lot - instead a charming oasis. Will return.

Campground Response

Thank you Linda for such kind word, I am so happy you enjoyed our park and we look forward to your return.

Very nice campground. I chose Hidden Lake because I could reserve on line. The location was perfect despite the detour due to I-10 construction.

The staff here is super nice we checked out but only made it a couple of miles before we broke a spring . So turned around and went back they said we could pull back in the spot we had left. They gave us a number for a mobile rv service tech he told us it would be 2 days before he could have a spring so we re-upped for 4 more days. This is the most well kept park I have ever stayed at so efficient and a pleasure to do business with. if looking for a camp ground in Beaumont Tx I recommend this park.

Campground Response

Thank you Roger, I do hope you return. Rhonda

Enjoyed our stay. Well kept, friendly staff, super convenient location but not in the middle of town. Worked well for us since we where working an even at the Ford Pavilion literally .5 mile (if that far) across the road.

Campground Response

We would like to thank you for staying here with us.
