Very nice and well maintained RV park. Staff were very friendly and since we were a pretty large rig towing a Jeep.....they put us on a very easy access lot. Lot was fairly level...and long enough for our complete rig. We were in a 45’Newell towing our Jeep. The only issue we had was the power was a little weak for our needs, but we just adjusted our ac’s and were a bit more conservative in our power use. We would stay here again when passing thru.

We booked an overnight stay online evidently through Rover Pass at this park on our way out west. When we arrived the office had no evidence of our reservation even though Rover Pass sent us a confirmation email 2 days before arrival. However, Lisa in the office was very helpful in arranging a nice site big enough for our 40 ft. Class A. The park was very nice, clean and well taken care of. Thanks again Lisa. You were awesome.

Janet Neville

Nice park, great staff, pull through was long enough so we did not have to unhook the tow vehicle. We would stay there again.

We stayed 1 night. Very friendly at réception. Nice level site. Easy To access from I 10. We highly recommend for a stop on the road to the East Coast.

Spacious, perfectly level site with fully functional utilities. Easy to get in and out. Friendly staff. Nice walking trail along canal and around small lake. Ford Pavillion within walking distance.

Annette Pfeifer

We stayed only one night but it was great. The person at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. It’s just right off of I-10 perfect location.

Kevin Martin

We stayed one night while traveling through the area. Had a great time. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the nature trail around the lake. The owners are very hospitable, friendly, and eager to help. Very nice rest rooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Would stay again if in the area.

Best bath/shower rooms I have seen in a park! Nice level sites. Easy on and off highway. The check in was great handled by very friendly people.

Thomas Perret-Gentil

The site is very close to railroad, but we heard very limited noise. Very friendly staff. Beautiful lake (not that hidden 😏) and easy access from the highway.

Heather Bennett

Very nice clean park with spacious sites. I love that they provided a list of nearby restaurants and apps that deliver - very helpful

Marcia Hartnett

We stayed one night. Everything was very clean, staff was very friendly. I would stay again anytime. Nice flat sites

William Cariola

Very small campground full of water and mud! They need to DRAIN The SWAMP! Nothing nearby so bring plenty of food!

Campground Response

Dear William, We are so sorry you had a bad experience with us. Our campground has 70 sites and may not be as large as others but we have a great community of campers here. Unfortunately when you checked in, we had 10 inches of rain the previous night along with wind and rain the day of your arrival. The ground has been extremely saturated, we try our best to maintain a clean and safe park by pumping water out as quickly as we can. However, we can't do this if it's pouring rain outside. Also, when you checked in you were given a list of local grocery stores , restaurants and food delivery services. We are so sorry those didn't meet your expectations. If you are ever back in our area please give us another chance.

We have stayed here 4 times in the past, with a 5th reservation a couple weeks from now. Very pleasant campground, predictably well-kept. Staff is very accommodating and courteous. When we pass through the Beaumont area Hidden Lake is our go-to RV park.

Full Hookups with both 30 and 50 amps. They have about 10 pull through sites that are used for short term stays. Long term stays are primarily back-in. Most sites are full sun, but there are a few that are shaded. Sites are reasonably large and include a picnic table (no burn puts however) and the park is big rig friendly. Sites are level and have concrete pads and the park roads are paved and generally in good condition, although drainage is a problem with a lot of large puddles forming on the roads when it rains. They ask the age of your vehicle on the registration form and the form indicates that they have the right to refuse an RV if it is in poor condition. WIFI/Cable are both available. WIFI access is through TangoNet but our experience here has been better than other parks with athe same provider. Cable is also free. They have a Laundry Room with 24/7 availability. Top loading washers are $1.25 and dryers are dryers are $1.00 for 40 minutes. Both work well and the room is very clean. Bathhouses and showers are clean and there was plenty of hot water. I was glad to find out this morning that they were also heated since it was a chilly morning. Finally, there is no pool, hot tub or play ground for children. There is a small lake with catch and release fishing. The couple who run the park are very friendly and helpful. The park is generally quiet, although there is some road noise from a near-by interstate and construction site. THere is also a train track (spur) that has some activity (one or two a day). In general, I would recommend the park for a short stay in the area or longer term (as we are intending) if you don't have children. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
