Enumclaw Expo Center RV Campground is located in Enumclaw, Washington, smack dab up against the foothills of Mt. Rainier. OPEN YEAR AROUND, we are a PERFECT location, for your RV, if you are headed for Crystal Mountain. The park sits on a portion of the 72 acres of the King County Fair Grounds, which is administered by the Enumclaw EXPO & Events Association with offices on-site. It features 27 paved campsites that have water and electric hookups and are big rig friendly. The park allows pets and provides free WiFi when available. Since we do not offer sewer hook ups, we are a short term campground. The closest dump station is about one mile away. Besides our nightly rates, we have a discounted weekly rate. (7 nights for the price of 6)

Campsite amenities offered include a playground, picnic tables, and LIMITED fire circles. Campers have access to restrooms and hot showers, on the fair grounds. Visitors can enjoy nearby activities at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, and hiking trails in Mt Rainier National Park.  The Chinook Scenic Byway (closed in the winter) starts at the edge of Enumclaw and travels up and over Chinook Pass to the eastern side of Washington State. Depending on the time of year you are there, the Expo Center has activities going on, such as King County Fair (July), Wine & Chocolate Festival (February), Annual Craft Festival (November), various dog shows and numerous music festivals. Whether its for a weekend getaway or a simple stop by, we hope to welcome you soon!

Very nice power/water only campground. Always clean and well maintained. Our go to place when we’re in the area.

Well maintained park in a private area next to the expo buildings. Area was quiet, even with activities going on at the nearby stadium. Spot was clean and well equipped, with nice level parking pad and clipped grass. Garbage area was away from parking spots and very clean, blocked from view. Great place for our dogs, with lots of cool grass to walk and lay in, and bag/disposal facilities for them. The outside spaces had lots of real estate between sites for privacy. Host was very accommodating and clearly active in taking care of the park. Our only complaint was that there was no fire ring on the “living” side of our site. Not sure if it was just missing or if it was placed on the back side, which would have been right in the face of our neighbors. Luckily, we had a propane fire pit, so was not an issue for s’mores 😉 but would have been disappointed otherwise. Overall, we loved our stay.

Excellent stay as always!

New rule that your RV can’t be more than 20 years old. Apparently there is no exception for the condition of the rig. Doesn’t affect me but a one size fits all policy is unreasonable. Plus no flexibility on late check outs. Only 3 rigs in the (50+) facility and strict check out policy. Show a little judgement.

Campground Response

Hi Wayne - We hope your stay was at least pleasant. As all campgrounds have independent policies, there are exceptions and that is stated as follows from our website. EFFECTIVE MAY 8, 2023 - RV models more than 20 years old are not permitted on the RV Campground property. RV's that are less than 20 years old that appear less-than appealing (duct-tape windows, missing windows, doesn't sit level, leaks any types of fluids, etc.) can also be asked to depart without a refund. If you own a “refurbished, vintage” RV and want to be considered, you can submit photos for approval. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the General Manager. Please submit any photos to be considered to info@enumclawexpo.com.

We enjoy coming out to this campground as it's a 30 minute drive from our house and gives us an opportunity to test out our camper before taking long trips. Great spots with water & power hook ups. Camp hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We'll continue to come here.

It was just as advertised. Water and electricity hookups (no sewer). It was quiet and well kept. Sadly not enough snow to ski at Crystal, but the campground was great.

The best managed and maintained RV Park, I have stayed at. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I only wish they had gray and black water connections at each site. I will definitely be back. Also, I really Love the City of Enumclaw. It is a growing classic small town that has nor lost its character.

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience with the visitors parked next to our motorhome. This couple had what appeared to be a pit bull type breed of dog. Unfortunately I accidentally allowed my Jack Russel terrier to escape out the door of my motorhome and he ran next door to play with the pit bull. I immediately retreived him and attempted to apologize to the couple with the pit bull. The couple became enraged and began swearing at me and threatening me with bodily harm! At one point the man pounded on my motorhome door and demanded that I come out and talk to him. I stepped from my motorhome to attempt to get him to calm down and he stepped towards me in a threatening manner and actually took a swing at me with his fist! I pushed him away in a defensive manner and told him to leave my campsite. The woman of the couple immediately went to the camp host and demanded that the police be called. I waited for the Enumclaw Police to arrive and explained what had happened to the officers. The officers stated that I did nothing wrong and left the campgrounds. The positive in all of this was the camphost "Annie" apologized to me and allowed me and my wife to move our motorhome over next to her space to be away from the other couple. I was still very concerned about the mental state of the couple so we choose to leave the campgrounds one day earlier than planned. In all my years of staying at hundreds of rv resorts and campgrounds I have never experienced this! I know that most rv sites ban certain aggressive breeds such as pit bulls so I wonder if maybe Enumclaw Expo Center should consider this. I do want to thank Annie and her husband for their kindness in this situation.

Host were wonderful!!! City of Enumclaw not so great. Showers not cleaned the whole time we were there. No sewers, no dump site on premises, lock access to showers/restrooms is difficult especially at night. OK for overnight or if you are involved in an event at Expo center. Otherwise nice place to stay. City should make an investment in this park.

Nice stop to visit friends and family in area. Was little loud at night with other campers partying until 1am but it was the Home Coming game so I understand that this has been going on for some time. The noise should have been shut down by 11pm but we still enjoyed our stay.

We just stayed here from 17th-23rd. Very small but nice and welcoming RV park. A very nice dog park about a mile down the road from the RV park. Close to Bonney Lake, which has everything you need. This park was quiet even though they had a couple of highschool football games while we stayed. The camp host was very kind, very attentive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
