We are open!!!!! After a long spring and summer of total repair of our electrical and water system we are back open!!!

With all new 50/30/20 disconnects at each site we can now accommodate a wider range of campers than before.  If you have a very long camper (over 32 feet) you will be limited to camping in the inner circle since our outside water sites are not long enough to comfortably fit long campers.

Welcome to Crooked Creek Campground!  Located on the East bank of the Tennessee River near Lobelville, TN. Crooked Creek is a quiet, peaceful getaway.  We are a small campground offering full hookups on 50/30amp sites.  Tent camping at this time is limited only to those who are with someone in a camper for bathroom facilities.  Our bath house was damaged in the floods and has not yet been repaired. That is next springs project.

We are connected to Crooked Creek Marina, a full-service marina and store.  We have parking available for boat trailers so camping with your boat is easy!

Crooked Creek Campground is an excellent base for day trips to many Tennessee attractions. Attractions include Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum, Mennonite communities, a local winery, Shiloh National Military Park, Mousetail Landing State Park, an all that Nashville has to offer are within two hours or less drive time.  There are also many off the beaten path treasures to be discovered in Tennessee.

But mostly what we offer is a peaceful quiet stay without the hustle and bustle of the daily grind!

Open Dates: March 1 to December 1

Flooding

Crooked Creek Campground is subject to flooding during times of extended rain events. We are on the Tennessee River which is flood controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority dams. Flooding is USUALLY an issue only in the winter months and very early spring but can be a factor anytime. It is not flash flood events that we deal with so we usually have plenty of time to move out of the campground. Campers owners will be notified when campers need to be moved. When notified campers are encouraged to get their trailers out ASAP. Crooked Creek Campground is not responsible for damaged caused by flooding in the event a camper is not moved in time. River levels can be monitored at: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=meg&gage=prvt1. 362 feet is the level where flooding in the campground begins. By 363 all campers must be out of campground.

This is a great campground. Quiet and peaceful. The people are the friendliest and most helpful I've ever been around. As a first time RVer, the helped us figure out all sorts of things on our first "shake down" cruise. Learned more from them in an hour than 3 hours at the dealership. Laurie and Dale are so helpful and friendly. We will most certainly be back. I camped in a 35 foot class A. 50 Amp service, water and sewer were available. Great place A true hidden gem!

I am 62 years old and new to the travel trailer camping scene. I have stayed at the Crooked Creek Campground this summer 3 times. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is always so clean and neat. The staff and neighbors are always so friendly. Management and tenants assisted me with my set up and take down of my camp (which was a huge help} and teaching me the . It is a great place for a getaway. It's very quiet and serene and a wonderful place for stargazing, relaxing, and fishing right outside your door.

Great family owned and run campground. Roads are a little tight coming in and out but you are directly on the creek just off the TN river and there is a marina side by side with the campground that has a boat ramp and a store. Spaces on the water for smaller campers. Big campers go in the grassy middle but all full hook up. Bring your own fire pit and firewood. Lots of kids running around playing and close to many Buffalo River float sites as well as Loretta Lynn's and Mousetail Landing for venturing off site. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere from everyone! Will definitely be back.

Awesome campground to camp at on a year round, seasonal or just for a few nights. Great new owners Christy and Anthony, who are very responsive and have timely communication. There are many regular campers here so makes it a bit safer place to camp and all the regulars are very friendly to newbies or just to campers passing through. Great , easy water access with this campground as a marina is a few 100 yards from the campsites. Fishing easy from banks of the campground or easy boat launch area also and marina store has bait and other necessities. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is overall size of some spaces are not as big as some campground sites but I definately would recommend this place overall and I have decided to stay a month at least!
