Children Supervision

Whether they are toddlers or teenagers, children can be a source of satisfaction and joy to any parent or campground. Occasionally, however, they can cause problems, either intentionally or accidentally. With this in mind, the following guidelines have been established. 1. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children and their visitors at all times and agree to pay for repairs or replacement of any property damage resulting from their actions. 2. Parents must always know the whereabouts of their children. 3. A responsible adult must always accompany children under the age of 6. 4. All children must be at their campsite by 9 p.m. Any violation of this rule will not be tolerated. 5. Children under 15 years of age are not left unattended at the campgrounds. 6. Childers should never be left alone at the campgrounds for any reason. 7. Parents must be constantly responsible for the safety and whereabouts of their children. 8. An adult must always accompany children under 6 years of age. 9. Children are not to climb trees anywhere on Country Charm property.

The Playground

1. Preschool and children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person while using the playground. 2. Glass bottles and containers are not permitted in the playground area. 3. Anyone who misuses or causes damage to the playground equipment will no longer be allowed to use the playground, and their parents will be held liable. 4. Country Charm will not be held liable for injuries sustained by its registered guests.

Vehicle Policies

To keep our roadways clear and in consideration of your neighbor, we ask that you only park two vehicles at your site. If there will be more than two vehicles, these additional vehicles must be parked in the barn's visitor parking area upfront. 1. Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground. 2. Motorcycles and mopeds are not to be ridden about the campgrounds except when used for transportation to and from the campgrounds. 3. No children can use any motorized vehicles in the campground

Garbage

Country Charm strongly recommends to all campers to recycle. This follows the town ordinance of Potter and Yates County. Each camper is responsible for all garbage created at their site. There is ZERO tolerance for burning any trash. 1. We have a dumpster by the entrance gate for your convenience. 2. Only household garbage you generate here at the campground can be placed into the dumpster. 3. No outside garbage is to be brought in and placed in the dumpster.

THE POND

A lifeguard or other responsible person does not supervise the pond. In place of on-site supervision, Country Charm has established a series of safeguards to be followed by everyone. 1. Never be at the pond alone. 2. No swimming is allowed at any time. 3. We recommended using lifejackets when spending time around the pond. 4. Small row boats or paddle boats are allowed. All persons using boats must always wear a lifejacket. 5. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by their parent or guardian. 6. Fishing is allowed. All campers must follow New York State fishing rules and guidelines. We recommend catch and release but, if you catch a fish that you cannot part with, we have established a limit of two fish per day per campsite. 7. The pond is closed to everyone from dusk to dawn. 8. No riding of bikes around the pond. 9. No throwing of anything into the pond. 10. Dogs must be under campers 100% control while at the pond.

We stayed in one of the cabins. So quiet and peaceful. There was this little bird that sang to us all the time. Not an irritation, this was a pretty song that we enjoyed. Jim and Brenda are hard workers and help you with anything you may need. We are making plans to come again in the fall.

A peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Sites are long, level, and have ample grassy area. (We stayed in a pull-thru). There was some standing water that lasted into the next day after a half day prior of heavy rain/storms. Many improvements to the campground since the last time we stayed (2021). So much grassy area and trails to walk our dogs. The bathrooms/showers close to us were private and clean. The pond is my favorite part and we had an incredible sunset view one night.

We reserved a single bight tent site at Country Charm Campground. Although we had arrived a few hours later than check-in, the hostess was kind enough to leave us a sweet detailed note welcoming us and directing us to our site, along with marking it on the map. We did happen to catch her just before she was leaving and she was super kind, polite and even offered to drive us to the site. We grabbed our souvenirs and went on our way. In navigating the grounds we were very impressed with how quiet, and well groomed the entire place was, including the bath houses. Beautiful views of the pond, with a large kids park. There were lots of activities available though we were there for one a quick overnight. The grounds were also well off the beaten path away from busy areas, but close enough to main roads for convenient stops for food, and shops. Price was affordable and well worth it. Should we visit the region again, we would definitely choose Country Charm.

Loved it!! We will definitely be back with the family. The cabin and grounds were private, clean, and well-maintained. The space was cozy and had great amenities to make it convenient for a shorter camp trip. We stayed here to be in close proximity to CMAC for a show, and it was a great choice compared to other expensive hotel rooms.

Great place to go. Love it there. We go a few times a season. Quiet, friendly, out of the way but yet close enough to enjoy the same towns around it.

The camp ground is very nice but their internet is non existent. There seems to be a disconnect between Roverpass and the campground ground, we paid extra to reserve a specific site and it was taken when we arrived

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing Campground. We stayed near the front and then one day drove up further into the resort to find a gorgeous lake. It was beautiful and we now know to explore further upon our return.
