Children Supervision

Whether they are toddlers or teenagers, children can be a source of satisfaction and joy to any parent or campground. Occasionally, however, they can cause problems, either intentionally or accidentally. With this in mind, the following guidelines have been established. 1. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children and their visitors at all times and agree to pay for repairs or replacement of any property damage resulting from their actions. 2. Parents must always know the whereabouts of their children. 3. A responsible adult must always accompany children under the age of 6. 4. All children must be at their campsite by 9 p.m. Any violation of this rule will not be tolerated. 5. Children under 15 years of age are not left unattended at the campgrounds. 6. Childers should never be left alone at the campgrounds for any reason. 7. Parents must be constantly responsible for the safety and whereabouts of their children. 8. An adult must always accompany children under 6 years of age. 9. Children are not to climb trees anywhere on Country Charm property.

The Playground

1. Preschool and children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person while using the playground. 2. Glass bottles and containers are not permitted in the playground area. 3. Anyone who misuses or causes damage to the playground equipment will no longer be allowed to use the playground, and their parents will be held liable. 4. Country Charm will not be held liable for injuries sustained by its registered guests.

Vehicle Policies

To keep our roadways clear and in consideration of your neighbor, we ask that you only park two vehicles at your site. If there will be more than two vehicles, these additional vehicles must be parked in the barn's visitor parking area upfront. 1. Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground. 2. Motorcycles and mopeds are not to be ridden about the campgrounds except when used for transportation to and from the campgrounds. 3. No children can use any motorized vehicles in the campground

Country Charm strongly recommends to all campers to recycle. This follows the town ordinance of Potter and Yates County. Each camper is responsible for all garbage created at their site. There is ZERO tolerance for burning any trash. 1. We have a dumpster across from site #11 for your convenience. 2. Only household garbage you generate here at the campground can be placed into the dumpster. 3. No outside garbage is to be brought in and placed in the dumpster.

A lifeguard or other responsible person does not supervise the pond. In place of on-site supervision, Country Charm has established a series of safeguards to be followed by everyone. 1. Never be at the pond alone. 2. No swimming is allowed at any time. 3. We recommended using lifejackets when spending time around the pond. 4. Small row boats or paddle boats are allowed. All persons using boats must always wear a lifejacket. 5. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by their parent or guardian. 6. Fishing is allowed. All campers must follow New York State fishing rules and guidelines. We recommend catch and release but, if you catch a fish that you cannot part with, we have established a limit of two fish per day per campsite. 7. The pond is closed to everyone from dusk to dawn. 8. No riding of bikes around the pond. 9. No throwing of anything into the pond. 10. Dogs must be under campers 100% control while at the pond.

the best part of this camp is Brenda (manager) - she is friendly, welcoming and efficient!

Christine Lanning

Beautiful little cabin, very clean and private. Brenda was wonderful to work with and accommodating. Thank you Country Charm!

David Willson

The camp ground is very nice but their internet is non existent. There seems to be a disconnect between Roverpass and the campground ground, we paid extra to reserve a specific site and it was taken when we arrived

Amy Fleming

Beautiful campground! We enjoyed a long weekend visit and experienced clean facilities, beautiful & well kept landscape & quiet surroundings. We will definitely visit again!

Patty Wandell

This is a beautiful campground with large, spacious sites. They have a beautiful pond for fishing or kayaking. We look forward to our next stay at Country Charm Campground.

William M Weimer

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing Campground. We stayed near the front and then one day drove up further into the resort to find a gorgeous lake. It was beautiful and we now know to explore further upon our return.

Daniel Carman

Had a great time nice people.

Michael Coleates

Great place. Super clean. Didn’t feel like an outsider with the seasonal campers.

Sonja Cratsley

We really enjoyed our stay. The lady that checks you in is every nice and helpful. The sites are very spacious. The only thing that would make it better is a pool.

Debra Boyce

Very nice lots of amenities for a short stay. The only thing we did not like was no sewer hook up at the sites.

Lynn Welsh

Beautiful campground, friendly staff. The wifi is not strong. Makes it difficult to take/make calls. Overall a great place to stay

Molly Farrington

Loved the very spacious sites, the staff was friendly. Great wi-if. New bathhouse, but didn’t like that the showers were 25 cents per MINUTE!

Lareta Riehl

Nice, peaceful place. Run by friendly folks. The cabin was clean and accommodating.

Jesse Lapp

We had a wonderful week back in our secluded campsite. Everyone was so friendly and the setting with the huge pond is beautiful!

Myron Glick

Our family stay at Country Charm was so relaxing! All of the camp staff are very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our week of camping. The campground is very well maintained and has lots of great activities for those wanting to play sports, go fishing or enjoy leisure walks. We hope to be back!

Hannah Christenson

Great campground! Would recommend camping here! She has a little shop with a bunch of essential items, breakfast foods, coffee, firewood, ice, and I don't even remember what all, just a very nice selection. Nice bath houses here too!

Talia Henehan

We had a lovely weekend! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Thanks for the relaxation!

Therese Payton

The campground was beautiful and the staff very nice and helpful. We didn’t realize that there is no sewer available in case that’s important for you. They have Wi-Fi but it very weak. Overall a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Kathy Occhioni

Wonderful place. Brenda was so kind! We had a great weekend even though it rained.

James Jermyn

What a great place. We went last year and this year were surprised on all the renovations. The office staff was so pleasant and went out of her way to afford us the best possible stay. There are so many things to do at no extra charges like other camp grounds. They even have a Saturday coffee get together at the pavilion.
