We stayed at Beaver Hollow campground during the busy Labor Day weekend. Upon arrival check in was easy. We were given a map and a copy of the rules and were reminded that the speed limit was only 5mph throughout the campground. We reserved a site knowing that it was only 20 amps as we were late to book this year. We finally made our way through very narrow gravel roads (had to be very careful not to hit the limbs and branches hanging along the way). Our site was suppose to be a pull through but it had several trees and I had to thread the needle between trees in order to fit our 30 foot trailer on site 82. The pedestal, water and sewer was easy to get to and positioned in the middle of the site. The site was all gravel and had several roots from all of the pine trees on the site. We were able to get 5 channels over the air antenna and wifi was spotty at best. The campground has a very nice pool, but it was always packed and not much room to swim. The layout of the campground has 2 sections. The front section was located near the office, pool, showers and the very noisy main road. The back part of the campground and where site 82 is was set back a little, and where the majority of the seasonal campers resided. This part of the campground was what I called the Wild Wild West. Anything goes!!! Although there are rules posted and we were reminded of the speed limit, I did not observe anyone enforcing any of the rules. The 5 mph speed limit are for vehicles only. Seasonal campers on golf carts were allowed to go as fast as they wanted. Even racing up and down on the gravel roads between campers even past quiet hours. We would most likely try another campground if we were to stay in the area again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
