For 44 years, the Wehr family has been accommodating guests that come to enjoy the bountiful offerings of family recreation and leisure attractions offered at the jewel of Western Pennsylvania, Moraine State Park. In 1975, Robert Wehr and his wife, June, purchased a nearly 60-acre rolling agricultural land tract along Moraine State Park's southwestern border that featured immediate access to Lake Arthur. Robert designed the park with a variety of camp areas and greenways. Today, Bear Run Campground is a 100-site full-service camping park with a heated pool, lake access, kids gem mine, and many more outdoor activities. Come celebrate the Bear Run Family Camping Tradition!

This place is very cute with a rustic camp theme. We visited July. Lots of activities for kids, clean & decent, pets allowed. The bad news? The sites are ridiculously small. The campground (which is very large) progresses up a steep hill, so sites are squeezed in along the roads going to the top. You are almost literally on top of the rigs next to you, can hear everyone's conversations, and you might just be lucky enough to have your neighbor's sewer hookup right next to your picnic table. So much for dining outside! It's really a shame that sites are crammed in with the acres of property this campground has. Will not be back. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
