We chose Alamo Fiesta RV Park due to location and amenities. Wished we had read the bad reviews here and other sites. After finding our way to the park, which is kinda confusing, we were given a spot in the gravel pit. Flat slab, but no grass between you and your neighbor 6' away. Disappointing. Amenities? Laundry rooms and pool are great, but despite the lies in the advertising, we were told there was no internet as we were long term. Neighbors told us the internet sucked anyway. There has been no internet for awhile, yet they keep advertising. We left for the Memorial Day weekend, and have just found out upon our return, that the park has pulled the cable. Neighbors say the downhill slide of this park is ongoing, and speculate the uncaring manager is trying to set everyone up for eviction due to plans for apartment complex. We've been warned not to discuss anything with manager as she is uncaring and not a people person, and will offer you the opportunity to leave the park instead of addressing concerns. We have paid our rent for the remainder of the stay, had intended to stay longer, but we know there are better parks that are professionally managed to cater to the tenants.

Campground Response

We are saddened about your unpleasant stay with us. The entrance can be a bit tricky and we understand that was completed by Tx. dot. We still offer WIFI to daily and weekly's which is why we still advertise because that is something we still offer. Monthly sites are able to receive WIFI through a local provider. Majority of our monthlies have it. We no longer offer cable due to many interrupted ongoing issues with the provider. However, you are still able to receive cable through a local provider. I am the community manager I can assure you I have never filed a single eviction here at my park especially for that reason. Just for clarity this RV park is not turning into an apartment complex. Please stop by the front office if you would like to discuss any other issues you may have. We hope you reconsider our park.

This is an RV park, not a resort and recently held a contest and drawing to attract positive reviews for the park. If you turned in a copy of a positive review, your name was entered into a drawing to win about $80.00 worth of crapola that is claimed to be worth $200.00. So far, it looks like Kelso and Melody below were the only ones to comment positively. Should be a sign, Lisa. . Nice staff but routine maintenance and cleaning are an issue due to GM and maintenance man being placed on incentive based salaries depending on overhead. Nice pool area, laundry, playground, dog park, and some nice lots with trees. Lots of unshaded, unlevel gravel lots as well. Lots of full timers that park multiple cars in grass that take away from the park. No tennis court, no exercise room, and baseketball is 1/4 court with old goal. No internet, horrible cable, flooding issues, electrical issues at times, and construction on highway and access road at front of park makes access challenging. Spend the $200 on more cleaning supplies for the bathrooms, clean the bathrooms to fight Covid, don't just wipe down the shower doors, update the cable and internet, and be more polite and you won't have to bribe people for positive reviews. Having a child answer the phones does not help.

Campground Response

Hello, we are sorry that you are not enjoying yourself at our RV resort. Correction, we are having a raffle for anyone who leaves a review. Not just a positive review. This helps in knowing where we need improvement throughout our park. In matter of fact your name and site # went in the raffle as we were able to pull it off the email you provided :) Good luck! Not sure if you have stopped by the office but we have gift cards in the basket and tons of other great goodies that total over $200.00. We have increased our cleaning due to Covid-19 and I can assure you our housekeeping does an amazing job. Our housekeeping uses strong safe chemicals to make sure our park is safe and clean for all our residents. Lastly, we do not have children answering our phones all of our team members are adults. If you would like to discuss this matter please feel free to stop by the front office as we would love to set up a meeting with you.

I love this RV Park! Ray & Lisa and all of the staff here are so friendly and helpful. The park is clean and kept up. I love that it is so pet friendly! I also enjoy all the activities they have here. Nice laundromats, pool and lots of trees. The staff have really made me feel at home here. I love being in Boerne and hope I will be here a long time!

Campground Response

Great access on/off IH10. Nice park, friendly staff and paved sites with FHU. Good Sam and Escapees discounts available. Amenities include meeting rooms for rallys, dog park, propane refills, wifi and cable tv. Have to admit the wifi kinda sucked though. Boerne is a great little town to visit. We were there during 'Dickens on Main' celebration (Thanksgiving weekend) which they hold annually. Easy trip into San Antonio or New Braunfels from here. Great spot for a few days stopover when traveling east or west! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Boerne, TX - Alamo Fiesta Resort. 33000 Interstate West, Boerne, TX, 78006, 830-249-4700. This park is conveniently located to I-10 on the frontage road. Way too expensive for an overnight stop but we had to rest so...they accept AAA, Good Sam, and Escapees discounts but not Passport America, so unless you plan to visit the area and stay for a longer time, skip this one if you are on a budget. Rates are better when you stay longer of course, and they had all the normal resort amenities listed as benefits. There were picnic tables and concrete pads. We were just there overnight, and did not use any of the restrooms, laundry, etc. so I cannot review them. When we arrived, the office was closed, so we chose a flyer from the box for one of their open sites; we were instructed on it to pay in the morning. We got to the designated spot but another RVer had taken it (but had neglected to take the appropriate flyer) so we took another open spot that didn't even have a flyer available. When I paid this morning, I told the staff member what I had done, and that their WIFi did not work at all, and she just shrugged and said they reset it this morning. They offer cable as well but we just used our antenna. FHUs were at all sites. There were many long term and seasonal residents at the park but it was very neat and clean. This would be a good park for a weekly or longer visit to San Antonio. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
