The Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast is located in East Montgomery. The brick and cedar house has a spacious dining room in the middle where guests gather for a full breakfast each morning. Four bedrooms open onto a courtyard surrounding a pool and patio area, and the vistas look out on fields and forested areas. You might be fortunate enough to see wild turkeys and deer cross the fields into the woods as you walk nature trails in the morning or evening. St. Stephens Historical Park is the site of one of the most important historical and archaeological sites in Alabama. St. Stephens was the site of a Spanish fort, an American fort, and the Alabama Territorial Capital. The historic site of Old St. Stephens is a valuable cultural resource that enhances and informs our understanding of the lives of the early settlers along the frontier of our new nation in the 1800s.In addition to the historical sites, the park boasts over 15 miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding, a 70-acre quarry lake with a sandy beach, fishing, boating, an 18-hole disc golf course, and bird watching. The park has tent camping sites, over 40 RV sites with full hook-ups, and 9 cabins for rent. There is a boat launch into the Tombigbee River and into our lake. Logan's Pass is conveniently located just 2.0 miles off Interstate 20/59 at exit 73 on Highway 82 east in Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.  All lots are large and shaded with full hookups.  All sites have 30 and 50 amps available.  It is located near Walmart, Sam's Academy Sports, movie theater, restaurants, family entertainment centers. We are conveniently located to the University of Alabama.
