A recently renovated RV park in Fredericksburg, Texas, The Vineyards at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort) features lots of brand new amenities! Krause Springs is a well known swimming hole and camping area located in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The 115 acre property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites and has been privately owned by the Krause Family for over 50 years. The property has many natural sites to explore -- 32 springs feed a manmade pool as well as a natural pool featuring a waterfall and underwater caves. Guests are welcome to explore many walking trails, shady picnic areas, fishing spots and take a stroll through the Butterfly Gardens. Be sure to make time to relax or take a nap while listening to the music of the wind chimes and the fountains. There are many designated areas to primitive camp surrounded by nature as well as 24 RV sites with water and electricity (20/30/50 amp) available. This RV Park is located on a secluded part of the San Marcos River just outside of Martindale, Texas. It has unique views and great access to the river. It has a spectacular view from the high bluff overlooking the river bend and the "rapids", as well as a couple of great gravel shoal access points that will lead you to great fishing and or lounging on the river. The Fredericksburg RV Park is located in beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas, which is well known for its German roots. There, visitors can enjoy a long list of excellent attractions and world-class eateries. Just beyond the campground is the Admiral Nimitz State Historic Park, LBJ Ranch Tours and the Enchanted Rock State Historic Area. There's also the Wildseed Farm of Wild Flowers and more than 600 acres of grapes that provide the main ingredients for the area's more than 70 wineries. For hiking, the Old Tunnel State Park is a great spot, for live entertainment there's the Rockbox Theater and for window shopping and souvenir buying, there's the Fredericksburg Main Street.
