This park has been around since the 60s and has had many owners over the years! Its a great spot right on the river with primitive camping, cabins, RV Sites and Glamping tents now. Back in April 2021, new owners have taken it over and are really putting in what it takes to bring this place back to life! The camping is better, shower house is clean and updated, cabins are being remodeled, Glamsping Tents area is amazing with HUGE shady Oak trees, they are adding new camping buildings, adding a new 60 foot shower house, adding creekside cabanas, volley ball, party areas, new pavillions....... THIS PLACE IS GETTING THE MAKEOVER IT DESERVES!!! It is still being worked on but you can SEE the progress!! You can SEE that when they are done this place will be an amazing all around resort for years to come!!! the new staff and owners are working round the clock to put in what it takes!! Love how cordial, courteous, friendly and helpful they all are. Its a great place to stay!!!

This campground is less than desirable. It looks like a junk yard with broken down trailers with busted windows and therr was another one filled with trash. Many of the cabins have litter everywhere including broken washer, dryers, refridgerators just thrown outside. There are no clear labels for a bathhouse. Finally we found it and there was only a men's restroom available. It was filthy and black and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The toilet was not even probably secured to the ground. The best part is that the water is accessible, there are plenty of fish, and deer are everywhere. This could be a nice campground if the owners took drastic measures to clean it up. I hope they do.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at R&R. The campground is in the perfect location for outdoor activities; my sister and I spent a ton of time swimming and fishing on Canyon Lake, and playing shuffleboard at the park. There's also a few small town restaurants and local sites to enjoy. Had a nice time, will return soon!
