The Blanco State Park is located in the beautiful town of Blanco, and is a great spot for an authentic Texas vacation. This small park hugs a one-mile stretch of the river. On the water, campers can swim, fish, paddle or boat, and on land, there's plenty of space to picnic, hike, camp, watch for wildlife, and geocache. For the group-travelers, there's a picnic pavilion for socials, group games and meals. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the Old Blanco County Court, Market Days held on the 3rd Saturday of each month and the Willow City Loop which is a breathtaking spot that's perfect for scenic drives, jogging, dog walking, picnicking and stargazing or sunset viewing. Sandy Creek Park Campground is a small, 25-acre park located less than 30 miles from downtown Austin, Texas. It features 78 full hookup campsites that are pull through big rig friendly. The park offers free WiFi and allows pets.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include a clubhouse, picnic/BBQ area, playground, and beautiful, on-site, hiking trails.
