Located at the Haysi Ridgeview Trailhead, Mountain Top Campground is a hiker's paradise, offering access to approximately 200 miles of trails. The area also features an ATV trail also accommodates horse trails, hikers, bicyclists, and motorcycles. Operated by the Haysi Kiwanis, Mountain Top Campground offers 18 brand-new full hook up RV sites and 18 primitive tent sites along with shower and restroom facilities to accommodate the primitive sites. Mountain Top is also located close to the Russell Fork River, which offers access for fishing, kayaking /canoeing /tubing and swimming. During the month of October, with the release of water from the John Flanagan, Dickenson County and the Russell Fork become a popular destination for white water rafters.

Mi Mountain Campground is a campground located on 151 Mi Mountain Road in Franklin, NC. The site includes laundry facilities.

Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground is open for the 2022 season from April 1 to November 1. We are the perfect place to relax, unplug and refresh with family and friends while you explore the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway. Choose how you stay. We offer:  13 (four pull through and nine back in) full hookup RV sites 6 one-room camping cabins 5 tent sites with water and electric 8 motel rooms We are situated on 22 acres of rolling hills and woods with mountain views. There is free Wi-Fi that was upgraded in 2021. The bathhouse has 5 private bathrooms with showers. We are close to the Blue Ridge Music Center, Mabry Mill and all of the beauty, shopping, wineries, hiking, cycling and paddling southwest Virginia has to offer.  Amenities & Activities Campsites include Wi-Fi, picnic tables, fire rings and charcoal grills. Guests and their pets can explore our walking trails and take advantage of hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing in the area. For motorcyclists and bicyclists, FGCC is a perfect stop along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We heve laundry facilities. Active or retired military receive a 10 percent discount as well as groups with five or more reservations. If you book seven nights, pay for six.

Go straight through the light and up the hill, follow the signs for US 23N/ US 74E * Stay on US 23N/ US 74E * Go approximately 8.5 miles (Just past Mile Marker 93) * Look for Green Balsam Highway sign on the right. * Take the next right on to Candlestick Lane * Take the first Right only 322 ft. on to Old Balsam Depot Road at the Moonshine Creek Bill Board * Go up a hill, over the RR Tracks, pass the Post Office on the Left, Follow the RR tracks .3 miles * AT THE FORK IN THE ROAD STAY TO THE RIGHT! * Cross the RR tracks a 2nd time on to Old Balsam Depot Road * The Balsam Mountain Inn will be on your Left * Stay on this Road 1.5 miles it will turn into Dark Ridge Road, the Campground will be on the left.
