Serene, beautiful and off the beaten Montana trail is the Racetrack Cabin. The small building is tucked away within the dense forest and is well-known is a quiet safe-haven for hunters, and retreat from the curious bears roaming around outside. At an elevation of over 6,300 feet, expect a cool climate and acres of green vegetation. Popular outdoor activities include: hiking the various trails, or trout fishing at Racetrack Creek. Buddy's RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Salmon, Idaho and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Lewis and Clark Trail, Lemhi County Historical Society & Museum, Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Educational Center and the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Among these attractions, campers can enjoy great snow boarding, skiing, scenic and wildlife viewing, biking and hiking. There's also the Lewis and Clark Back Country Byway, Sacajawea Scenic Byway and a number of great local wineries, specialty shops and craft eateries for visitors to take advantage of.
