The Cove, formerly Warblers Cove is a spectacular piece of Michigan wilderness spanning 610 acres. The property comprises 4 different lakes and over a 12 miles of golf cart trails throughout the property. ​The Cove is a campground like none other you will find. Our goal is to help facilitate connection to the great outdoors, family friendly fun, and a one of a kind get some mud on your cart tires experience. ​If you don't have a golf cart you aren't going to get to experience what The Cove is all about(don't worry we have rental carts available). Campers will add lift kits, lights, coolers, and even heated seats. Join a caravan and cruise the trails stopping at rope swings, picnic areas, multiple beaches, our pool, clubhouse with a free arcade and so much more.​Our goal is to work to turn The Cove into the coolest campground in Michigan. We wont try to be the fanciest so don't expect a red carpet upon arrival. The Woodlands Acres Campground is a 400-acre family-owned and operated property.  The number of sites has been limited to enhance the private up north feel.   In addition to the amazing rolling terrain the Woodlands Acres property is blessed to have three ponds as well as a 48-acre lake for fishing, kayaking and swimming. Sturgeon Valley Campground is located on 111 acres in Wolverine, Michigan. Leave Sturgeon Valley Campground on your canoe, kayak, or tube for some of the finest river floating in Northern Michigan. We are also close to the Pigeon River. We have tubes for rent and will gladly take you up stream to enjoy floating back to our campground. We feature 30 amp hookup sites along with restrooms, playground, laundry facilities and an on site store. We love stories and the people who tell them. Whether they are told at dusk around the campfire while roasting marshmallows, or in the morning around the coffee pot, we love to hear other camper’s adventures and tales from the road. Since you are here and considering a stay at Antrim Meadows, I will break the ice and start with our story. We are Doug and Stacey Hicks–short-time campground owners and Northern Michigan natives. We actually attended the same highschool, but moved apart until a chance meeting brought us back together in 2005. We returned to Northern Michigan in 2014 and soon after, we re-opened Doug’s successful auto-repair business, Doug’s Garage and Off-Road Center. Over the years, we also developed a love for camping to add to our other hobbies of travel, motorcycles and mountain bike riding. Our purchase of Antrim Meadows was another chance encounter that paid off for us. We had recently sold our auto repair business, so we were looking for our next venture. On our way to our new home in Mancelona, Doug noticed the campground was for sale. I’m not going to lie, I had questions. After all, it was 2020 and the world was shutting down, so starting a new business in uncertain times seemed, well, not smart. But as we talked about the possibilities and the potential the property held, we decided the location provided the perfect spot for us to share our love of camping and Northern Michigan.  Whether you are into mountain biking, boating, swimming, hiking, kayaking, golf, or motorcycle riding, there is no better place to travel than Northern Michigan, and Antrim Meadows serves as the perfect basecamp for your adventures.
