The yellow-barked ponderosa pine tower over most campsites, and campers can also look forward to an excellent angler and trout fishing opportunity at the riverside. There's also plenty of space by the water for water sports like swimming, kayaking and some boating. While you're at the campsite, keep your eyes open for wildlife like elk, deer and moose, and don't be shy about exploring on foot or bike. There's plenty to see and experience. There's also nearby attractions for campers to enjoy, such as Hughes Creek and natural hot springs just 18 miles from the campground.

Lose yourself among the tall, thriving fir and pine, and the excellent hiking and mountain biking paths throughout the forest surrounding the lodge. Campers can also enjoy activities such as hunting, historic sightseeing, biking, volleyball and badminton, as at a well-managed site. Mining for precious gems is another popular activity, and visitors can tour the nearby ghost town or go fishing at the nearby lake. 

The Black Rabbit RV Park is located in Hamilton, Montana and is popular for the plethora of activities available for campers.
