"Better than expected amenities: showers, shop, ice cream, benches for cooking and eating. Only negative is the distance to the tent sites. But at least it's quiet! Very dark sky, wonderful stars"

"Clean and what you would expect in the desert. Extremely convenient to Big Bend... leave our camper outside and travel the park. Website showed less sites available that reality and we did nit see ability to call but hosts made everything work. Very pleased. "

"Friendly & helpful folks run the place and there are plenty of fairly level sites with either fhu or elec/water. The fhu are closest to the facilities (b/r, showers, gas, and general store). The store carries a good assortment of sunscreen and necessities. They sell regular gas. The bathrooms were clean but rustic, plenty of hot water for a quick shower (water is precious out here). "Pretty good stay. Off the road, quiet, close to Big Bend National Park. The only thing I didn't like was the bright street light next to my trailer. I had to walk out of camp to get a good view of the comet."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. At about 6 miles from NP entrance, it was easy to get to and from the park each day. The people running the place were very nice. Great to have bathrooms, showers and laundry at our disposal. The museum on the site was very interesting."
