Just off I-80, among the rolling corn fields is Tipton. It is an interesting little Iowa town. It is just outside of Iowa city, where the University of Iowa is located. There are endless opportunities to have some fun in Iowa City, from nightlife to art to sports. Tipton is also within distance of a wildlife management center. You will be sure to have a fun time. After getting wild in corn country, head over to one of Tipton’s campgrounds or RV Parks.

The Hawkeye Wildlife Management area is one of the most exciting parks in Iowa. At just under 14,000 acres, the park is flowing with timber. There are miles of trails to hike. One trail will take you up to Hanging Rock Ridge, where you can look out at the vast Iowa landscape. In addition to the thick forest, the park also contains marsh and upland. If you go hiking, you will most likely see a deer, while other animals exist in the park, such as waterfowl, dove pheasant and squirrel. After a day exploring the park, head down to Tipton and pick up some fresh Iowa corn then head to one of the best RV Parks in Iowa.
