I was kind of nervous choosing a completely new campsite for my first camping trip with my new husband, but this turned out well! Farmington River is nearby and is pretty popular so on our second day, we went early to beat the crowds. There's plenty of salmon in the river, and before the trip was up, we river rafted for about a mile. The campsite was really clean and well sectioned off, and we really appreciated how quiet the grounds were. No complaints at all with the staff. They were helpful, and even suggested a few activities beyond just the river. We're looking forward to visiting again!
