This RVP is a perfect alternative to the KY Horse Park - KHP has no sewer connections at any site. There are dumps you can use there tho. KHP Charges $37.50 - no discounts offered and they are often booked weeks in advance. Whispering Hills is a private park and just 2 years old. Designed, built and managed daily by FT RVers, it has EVERYTHING you could possibly want in an overnight/short term or long term private RVP. The owners travelled for 10+ years researching designs and incorporated everything they wanted to have in this park. The showers are HUGE - each of the 10 shower rooms are handicap size, access off a hallway with a private door for each room. Super clean, with a large shower, chair and plenty of hangars for clothes or towels. Very child-friendly, with plenty of room in grassy fields mostly for the sections at the far end of the park, not in the overnight spaces at the front of the park, which are located just past the pool & office. There is a pool, ice machine, pavilion (with free live bands 1x a month), a small lake, golf cart rentals, canoe rentals ... I could go on and on. The overnight sites are EZ access pull-thrus, big-rig friendly, but not spaciously wide. Each has a wooden picnic table and fire ring. They are all gravel lots with paved 1-way drives in between. The office is open until 9PM - yes PM, with a few RV supplies in stock. We paid $31.50 (including a Good Sams 10% discount) for a 50amp FHU site. There is a Pilot TS at the I-75 exit for EZ top off of fuel coming or going, and Georgetown is a wonderful little historic town to visit nearby. If you have time, go visit Yuko-En on the Elkhorn, The Official Kentucky-Japan Friendship Gardens (free to walk thru) in Georgetown, designed and sponsored by Toyota. And be sure to get your BBQ on at Red State BBQ, also in the area, closer to the KHP. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
