The owner of the campground is one of the meanest, most rude people I've ever met. The campground is literally right off 46, you can hear traffic non stop, the picnic tables are falling apart. The owner wouldn't let us have a fire, said there was a county wide no burn in affect. A camper a few RV's down called DNR and spoke to a sheriff who told him that was not the case. He yelled at them just for asking. He was extremely rude to my husband while he was trying to help another camper who's car wouldn't start. All because my sister stopped in to pick up her daughter and take her into town and was parked at our campsite in the grass. He yelled at my husband like he was a child to "come here right", "this is my campground and I will make you leave". He was rude to my sister. Needless to say we will NEVER go back there.

This is a poor excuse for a campground, let alone a good sam member. the driveway was full of chuck holes, the picnic tables all appeared to be dilapidated and the owner was cratchy and unfriendly. After signing in he insisted he would help me back into my spot. he proceeded to direct me between a camper and a picnic table, which was rusty and about ready to fall apart. unknown to me I was too close to the picnic table and knocked one side of the bench off. He proceeded to tell me how to turn. This after I delivered over a hundred campers to dealers and never had a problem with backing up. He warned my wife to stay away from the picnic table. I think he was afraid we would see just how bad a shape it was. Long story short, he insisted I pay for part of the damage, even though the frame was rusted. I won't be back. He just lost a customer! There are better campgrounds in the area
