Wakeside Lake is located next to Highway 20. Off exit 332. It has a private lake you have access to where you can fish or enjoy the water (with kyaks or paddleboards you bring). Their are many large shade trees & gravel sites. All RV sites are pull through.

Wakeside Lake RV Park is located near Rexburg, Idaho on a 34-acre lake. It features full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. The park allows pets, provides free WiFi and cable TV, and has a dump station.

Amenities & Activities

Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like newly built restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can enjoy nearby activities such as paddleboarding, fishing, swimming boating, and kayaking.

Rules

Tents in your rented RV site

We charge $15 a week for the option to have a tent on your RV site if it fits.

Extra Vehicles

Please note that if you are bringing any extra vehicles you will need to park those at the overflow parking lot.

Mandatory cleaning fee

The cleaning fee must be added to your Glamping or Campin reservation. If you do not add it, your reservation might be canceled.

Fishing

Our fishing is catch and release only. Please use barbless hooks.

The fine print

We reserve the right to either evict anyone without refund, or refuse service to anyone whose behavior is unlawful, socially offensive, menacing to others, or willfully disregards the rules.

Trash rules

Trash needs to be bagged and placed in the dumpster provided. Please flatten boxes and cartons.

Children

Families are always welcome at Wakeside Lake RV Park. We do ask you to respect your neighbors and responsibly supervise your children at all times. This is also for their own safety. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the lake area without adult supervision. Accompany children under 8 years of age to restrooms, laundry, and the lake.

Pet Policy

Pets must be under control, on a leash, and attended at all times when outdoors. You are responsible for your pet and need to pick up after it. Anyone who allows their dog to bark continuously or lets their pet run unattended will be asked to leave the RV Park. Please see rates for pet fees.

The park is pleasant. A few trees spruce the spaces up and provides a little shade. A far cry from the sterile park adjacent to it!

Very nice campground and very friendly staff. Two reasons why only a three, 1-blew past entrance because I didn’t see any park sign ahead of time, 2-loved the trains and highway noise all night. Trains I get, a fence is there but not high enuff to muffle the sound. Same thing with traffic side fence not high enuff

Nice setting. Garmin leads you to the opposite side of the highway. Once you get there easy to get back to.

My husband and I have been at Wakeside Lake for the last 3 months while we are waiting for our home to be completed. We have throughly enjoy our stay! I love looking at the lake everyday. Water is my happy place. Kayaking, swimming and floating around with my grandkids was wonderful. Nice laundry room on site so we don’t have to find a laundry mat. Trees for shade, picnic tables, and fire pits are available. The staff and camp host are very helpful as well. We definitely recommend Wakeside Lake!

No cable which is nice after a day of adventures. We needed to change our dates slightly and they worked very well with us. The park is nice and our pup enjoyed walking by the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Advertised all sites having 30 & 50 amps But Not true. Had problems with sewer clogging up & very slow at fixing the problem. On a good note spaces were very spacious & easy to pull thru. CHECK electric pedestal before hooking up some are old & need to be replaced.

We got in late and I far as I could see in any correspondence there was no mention of the shower code. We had to ask other campers for the information. The first one did not mention the check mark. If there is no one at the office, this information should be provided.

Convenient to Iron Horse Rental (Cruise America) and Walmart (for provisioning). Ice was not available. Bathrooms and shower facilities were cramped/small but clean. Three sinks in men’s room but only one mirror for a shave. Could use more hooks in shower areas to hang clothes/towels.

Quite nice. Clean, no bugs. Very disappointed ot to have a picnic table as everyone else has one. Also, hard to find with the new construction happening nearby. Lastly, Mapqhest sent us onto the SW side of freeway, we needed to be on SW side.

We had a very good experience. Love that you can come in after 10:00 O'clock. I know it's a Newer place. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. I think picinic table are a big thing to have more of. We was lucky to have a table but some was not. I know your probably have them next year. Yes I would come back. I'm going to give you 5 Star because I know your still building and working hard at the sites. Thanks for the stay and camp host very nice.

Kind of a disappointment. It’s best feature is its flat. Just weedy gravel. Newer shower/laundry building. Pictures are deceiving. The grassy areas aren’t by the sites. Away from town, near a highway and not conducive to rest. Ok for a one nighter.
