Here are a few of the Van Horn RV Park amenities that we offer. They include a store, an on-premise cafe, a laundromat, and clean restrooms and showers. Our store is stocked with groceries, cold beverages, wine, propane and emergency RV supplies. After a long day on the road, relax and have a bite at Penny’s cafe or we will even deliver it to your RV site.

Our RV sites are large and level. We are truly “Big Rig Friendly”. All of our sites are pull thru making it easy to “land” after a long day on the road. Here at the Van Horn RV Park, our sites include water, sewer, and 30 or 50 amp electrical. We provide FREE cable TV and FREE wifi. Our sites offer plenty of room to park your tow vehicle.

Penny’s Cafe is a welcome sight after a day on the road. The Cafe is located next to the RV Office, laundromat and Store, It’s just a short walk from your site. We are open for dinner in the evenings after your arrival and we’re open for breakfast in the mornings before you leave. We even deliver to you site!

Due to the Coronavirus we had not contact with park personnel, The park itself was clean and well kept. Sites are gravel but level. We would definitely stay there again

Easy in-out, level sites. Good spacing. Friendly staff. Clean park, trash picked up. Stayed during the Corona 19 virus pandemic so contact was limited. Here only one night. Granddaughter enjoyed the ‘Weather station’

We love this little park. Great views of the sunrise and sunsets. We’ve only stayed here on overnight pass thrus but would like to comeback when time permits to explore the surrounding areas and try the cafe. Staff has always been friendly.

The host was withdrawn and cold. The site was run down with no vegetation. Actually, the amenities were less the problem than the attitude of the host. So many little things can be overlooked if the staff is gracious.

Extremely friendly staff. Had a small issue with reservation not showing, but the staff resolved quickly. Clean park. Stayed overnight in our travels. When in Van Horn, you must have a meal at the El Capitan Hotel.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our site was hard packed gravel that was level. Our dogs didn’t care for the dog park because of spikey ground cover but there was a lot of open space to walk them. The on-site cafe served quite decent food for breakfast and dinner. We appreciated their hospitality. We would stay there again.

Great place to be hit with a freak snow storm. Hosts & little market made sure guests had all their needs met, diner was cozy and a great break from cooking. We topped off our propane and were very cozy as we waited for the roads to clear. Cute grounds. Very friendly.

This is a wonderful rv park. It’s far enough off the freeway to be quiet. The owners are wonderful, friendly and gracious. This is the only rv park I know of with a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. This is going to be our destination stop over place when heading west from now on

Large, level, full hook up pull through sites make it a breeze to enter and set up. The on site store, laundry and Cafe are all very nice. Large book swap in laundry. Most RVs we saw were just overnight as there is nothing to do in the area. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. We stayed 3 nights before moving on to NM. Some of the falling down music stages at the pond probably should be torn down simply because they are an eyesore.

Outstanding RV park. Great staff, professional and courteous. The Caffe on site is the best we have eaten at. Phenomenal dinner and breakfast. Large pull-thru lots, no issues with 45+ RVs and towing. Easy in and out of RV park. Highly recommend. We will definitedly return.

This was our second time. Quiet, clean. Great Cafe, makes great food. Need to get rid of the burs or stickers on the ground. They can be killed. All over the place and hurt when bare footed. They get in everything. Otherwise would have had all stars.

My husband and I spent a night at Van Horn RV Park, which is located off of I-10 innVan Horn, TX, in October 2019. We found the office staff to be very friendly, efficient and helpful. The grounds were very clean and well tended to. The showers, restrooms and laundry facilities were clean and quite adequate for our needs. The Cafe, where we had dinner, was a welcome sight especially after a fairly long day on the road. The food was tasty too. We’d stop there again if passing the way.

Only stayed overnight, however we really loved our stay. Rv Park was nice, with a few trees, spacious, flat sites with grassy areas, and very easy to pull in to. Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming! We had dinner at the cafe. Nice variety of meals on the menu. Food was wonderful! Cook and server were awesome! Enjoyed our stay, and hope to return again!
