First of all the owners and staff are fantastic. And on top of that the bathrooms and showers were not only free - they were the cleanest we have ever seen! Our family of four try to pick out a different campsite every fall and Two Rivers didn’t disappoint. We also very active with trail hiking, kayaking, and mountain climbing. We used the kayaks or paddle boats almost every day and we enjoyed having the Kennebuc River to ourselves! We are tent people and we reserved 51A (secluded). It is pretty small but we are very good at making places look like Harry Potter land. I would say site 50 is the top site for tents since you are right in the river point. I say this but we enjoyed our seclusion. It was also the first tent site we have ever been to that had water and electricity! That made life much easier (Don’t think 50 or 51 have electricity) because we were able to plug in electronics. There seems to be a lot of regulars that stay the entire season and they were all so very friendly (Loved the wine walk). They had a very good band on Saturday night that played until a respectable time of 9. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we thank all of the staff!!

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the campground manager who was incredibly nice and very accommodating! This was our first time hauling our camper anywhere other than our regular camp lot, and we were very pleased with our stay at Two Rivers Campground in Skowhegan. Would certainly recommend to others and will be going back again!

What a sweet campground. We are tenters. Want to encourage those who tent. The sites are great. Not right on top of each other. The campground was very clean and quiet. Looks like the rv sites are lovely as well not right on top of each other. A lot of sites are along the River. They offer free use of canoes and paddle boats.

Owners and staff are VERY friendly here. This place reminds me of the campgrounds that my parents used to take us to. There are many locals camping here and they are all very welcoming and friendly. They even have kayaks available to take out on the river, no charge. We stayed here for two weeks and next year we’re coming back for a month. We really enjoyed it here.
