Perfect adult getaway, with beautiful views. Owners are easy to communicate with via text if needed. We brought our own fire pit and loved hanging out on our campsite (#11). Only negative for us really was the traffic noise from countless motorists driving the scenic highway, but it will not keep us from going back. Matter of fact, we already made reservations for same time next year.

Wifi kept going out. Ground on sites needs a little more base. Thanks for the treated 2bys. Otherwise it was great. Very peaceful. Good spot to watch sunrise.(as long as neighbor either backs up all the way, or unhooks).

Jenny Tanner

Beautiful views from campsites. Very easy to get into with larger rigs. Full hookups but sewer drains are a little hard to get drained as they are up hill. I originally thought from the description that you could only use community fire pit, but then noticed everyone brought portable fire pits. This is a good option since you are in a wooded area and then campers have smaller controlled campfires. Owners were in contact via text if you need anything. Wifi was good, but would go in and out sometimes. Very quiet and peaceful. Small campground atmosphere and got to know most fellow campers.

We were very blessed to be able to spend 6 days at this wonderful campground. We visited during the peak of the colors changing. The view was breath taking and we were able to watch the colors change daily right before our eyes. The owners came through every day to make sure all campers were comfortable and enjoying their stay. While there is no cell service, they do have WiFi service so we were able to Check in with our family while we were away from home. The owners were in the process of adding a laundry room and Ice machine, which are both great to have available while camping. We can’t wait for our next visit in July😁

We loved our stay! Such a beautiful view from any site! They are very accommodating of big rigs. We are a small travel trailer so we just had to pull forward a bit to get to the hookups. Site 4 particularly has a bit of an “up hill” sewage drain so for us being lower we had to be creative to dump. One of the owners visited the campers and welcomed any suggestions, she was very friendly and kind. The WiFi worked great! No cell service, but jump on the WiFi and you can use it for calling or texts. Highly recommend you staying here. :)

Great location with awesome views. Easy access to each lot but the exit is VERY tight. Our tow vehicle dropped into a ravine but came out OK. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They welcome your opinion on how to improve. We would definitely stay again but will make sure to turn right on exit.

We loved our short stay! We will definitely come back for a longer stay! We loved the view, of course. But it's nice to find a small campground with larger sites! The fire pit with plenty of firewood was also a plus! Owner Marie was super friendly! Thanks for a great weekend! We'll be back!

My wife and I had a great time. It was a beautiful view and the staff was great. The sites are very easy to get in and tables & hook ups are all new. The community fire pit is nice but would like the option of having a fire at the campsite. We will be returning for sure.

We had a wonderful weekend at Top of the World. The views are Beautiful. We stayed in site 11 which sets all by itself . Hopefully there are plans to build a bath house at sometime. There are only 11 sites. And all but site 9& 10 have wonderful views of the mountains

Robert Boeglin

Very helpful with a situation we had but a little higher price compared to most for the amenities that they offered. I would stay again.

Suellen Maxwell

Fanatastic views. Very clean and quiet. Easy access off the highway. Very nice owners. Liked site 6, would choose site 3 as best. Full hookups. No fancy amenities but who needs them when you are there to enjoy nature. Would definitely come again.

We loved this quiet little haven in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee. Stellar view, large roomy sites with full hookups, what more could we possibly want. Super friendly, helpful owners and a pretty little park. We feel blessed to have found this little jewel!! God Bless!!

Mark Roberts

Beautiful view, utilities placed for ez use, great internet but no Verizon phone service. We’re visiting friends so didn’t spend much time here but was a nice community fire arranged with wood ready to light, nice touch, and access to more firewood.

Gary Phillips

Top of the World RV is a hidden gem! Views are spectacular, and the sites are very roomy. We stayed for 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. As other reviewers have stated there is no cell service, but with the stellar wi-fi you can use wi-fi calling with no issues. We will definitely be back, and would definately recommend Top of the World RV!

Really nice place to visit! Beautiful views, close to Tellico Plains and Cherohala Skyway. One note, the sewer connections we used were not level to the ground. They were elevated a little so it made the emptying of the black tank a little challenging. But, still no reason they are not 5 stars. :)

Neisha Crespo

It’s not our first time staying at this very clean park, awesome views to the mountains. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The park is just starting and they will have more to offer in the future nearby. Love it!!!!

Audrey McGuinness

Nice sites, wonderful views and great owners. Zero cell service but wifi was strong. No frills on amenities - no bathhouse, laundry, etc (which isn't a negative, we don't usually use those anyway). The area is very rural and remote but has some beautiful things to do/see nearby. A good bit of motorcycle traffic on the highway behind the sites.

Campground Response

Hi Audrey, Thank you for your review! We would love to know what would've made your review 5 stars 😊 Please let us know how we can better serve our campers,

Patricia Kellum

The campground was easy to get into. Dog friendly and it was very clean.

Shelley Brown

As long as you realize this is boondocking with full hookups then you will enjoy. Beautiful views. Packed gravel lots and drive. A little road noise but pretty quiet during night Small park with not much area to walk around but easy to get in and out of. Check out Iron Works Grill while in Tellico-Plains as well as Tellico Grains Bakery.

If you are looking for a no frills campground then this is for you. We were in site 11 which offered some privacy but all 10 sites have a beautiful view. Some road noise but that doesn't bother us as we live closer to the road at home. I would return for some R&R!
